I was worried for a moment because one of my guild members is over there going to school, but its a different school she is at. Her friend does go there however, but luckily she is okay too. I think its a horrible thing. If you must end your own life, dont take people with you....especially not 30+ innocent people. Its just so disgusting. Hard to relax at school.

yea, now that school is also going to get a bad rep. and not a lot of people are going to go there since of the being safe issue. But good thing her friends is okay, that would really suck to loose one of your friends to a school shooting.

That school has a bad rep for more than one reason now, the fact that 2 people were shot in the dorms and it took them 2 hours to send out a fcking email notifying the rest of the school, and they didnt even attempt to put the school into lockdown, hence the reason the other 30 or so people died...

Completely the schools fault.

Too bad the gunman shot himself since the whole thing was completely not his fault! We could have gotten his opinion! What a wasted opportunity!

Yea, the guy was like Chinese or something. Very scary and sad. I just had a moment of silence about 10 minutes ago at my school for it.

Ok i talked about this in my Current Issue class at skool.
32 killed and then shooter killed himself so total death toll is 33
This occured 4 days before the 8th anniversity of the Calibine shooting

Ok so at 7:15 they found 2 dead people that have been shot in there dorm room. The cops came and said it was domestic violence or something and there is nothing to worry about.

2 hours later at 9:15 the real shooting begin across campus. People were jumping out of there class rooms on the 4th floor to aviod the shooter.

He tied chains around the doors so no one could leave and made it hard for cops and people to get in.

He had two guns and a lot of extra ammuntion in his vest so he had to of planned this

They said this occured because of a fight with his girlfriend and he said she was cheating on him

The shooter was a 23 or 24 Asain Male here on a Visa.

This is the worst skool shooting in the United States to occur

Truely a sad event

Because he was South Korean, which is in Asia therefore he is Asian? It's not used in an offensive way as much as it is just to identify the person.

In America, that's not a insult. It happens with Caucasians, African-Americans, Asian, Latino alike. :)

What's more tragic is the shooter himself. It seems no one cared to make an effort to help him. I read that some students noticed he was always quiet and by himself yet they don't approach to try and become friends. It's VERY easy to snap like that. I just wished people made more of an effort to get him help.

see, hopefully this is a warning to all the kids at school that pick on other kids that wont defend themselves until one day they come to school with a sawed off shotgun and kill everyone.

hmmm....im quite and usually by myself at skool but i never felt like killing people so that really doesnt have anything to do with it

I also heard people would say stuff like Hi or Hello and he would just look down and keep walking....they tried didnt they?

Everyone has different emotions and reactions so it definitely did have something to do with it. They tried, but not hard enough.

Well ok maybe does have to do with it....but still if you say hi or hello to someone and they just look down and keep walking r u really gonna try harder? i mean u took the first step and they didnt answer or aknowledge or watever...
Also people were frightened by the papers he wrote and stuff....his english teacher referred him to counseling because of a paper he wrote.
