I mean talk about an Empire Strikes back ending ripoff, then again
if your going to rip off a film might as well be one of the best

pirates of carabbean movies suck

i didn't watch the second one yet .... but i will

and definitely i won't miss these one too

I hate how they always try to comeback with the same charecters from a movie after that movie is a hit.

For example, Shrek was really popular and got Dreamworks (I think it was dreamworks) a lot of money.

So the dreamworks people go like "oh since people like shrek lets just use him again in our next movie" and they make shrek 2 which is a hit too.

Pirates of the carribean 2 was ok, but they used all the good ideas and humor in number 1.

The reason why many sequels are hits as well as the original is because of

1. a short lived fan support

2. and just the momentum of the first movie

Now im not saying its bad making a sequel. A sequel can be just as good like Rush hour 2 was better than rush hour

i just don't like how companies sometimes screw up trying to use a previously popular movie to get more moeny instead of being creative and making a different one.

yeh you say that but some movies supass there originals in some cases they even start producing the sequals before the original is out or have written ideas they cant say if its going to be a hit but that does sometimes determine whether they will push there ideas further

i watched just hrs ago, opening day and it was great i must say. it was so funny, almost all the way through and the fight seens where great, colipso woman could have done more tho during the last fight ship battle scenes.

Overall, i recommned all to watch it

Really?!

I had heard that they were planning only to the 3 movies and that they probably wont go past 3.

Admittedly potc3 was super fantastic, so funny and great action.

I'm worried as to how the next movie would play out, it would have to either be at least 8 years on, or have Will doing his best to break the rules to be with his lady and end up getting cursed.

Meanwhile Jack is still striving for immortality only to find it in the 'legend' that he leaves behind.

I'm curious how the movie will end, loved the humour in the previous movies, especially the first one was so funny.

I really want to see it, preferably in the cinema, but I think I'll wait a few weeks so the die hard Orlando Bloom & Johnny Depp fangirls have seen the movie 81407413 times until they run out of money.
There's already a drama going on, Depp's gettin married and fangirls = cry now. It's gonna be even worse when Bloom's gonna marry <.<
