I hate cars.

$850 for new brakes and rotors on my Acura =(
And I buy oil change and tune.
Tires goin kinda thin, prob need new ones too. Last time that was about $1200 for low profile tire set.
Sigh.
What a huge waste of money.

You pay 20-30K for something nice, add thousands in interest costs, then 7 years later its worth NOTHING
Coulda spent that money towards a house or something but noooooo

Same here. Even when i'm 16 i wont get a car. My bike is adequate transportation for me, keeps me from getting fat, and doesn't cost nearly as much.

It's been about two thousand miles since my last oil change. The car hasn't been getting the mileage it used to, so the first thing I checked was the oil. Almost bone dry. It was so low that I am surprised the engine didn't fail. It looks like the car thinks motor oil is some sort of refreshing beverage that it can just chug.
I agree with Ryoko. Cars are getting retarded.

I feel your pain. Hit a deer on the way home last night, tore up the front of my car pretty bad... All kinds of car parts were lying in the road. About $7500 in damage, and my gf was worried about the damn deer. Well, what was left of it. I generally love my car, but at times like these, when it's biting deep into my wallet, I hate it. u.u

Sorry to hear that.
At 7500$ your insurance company will probably scrap it, and compensate you with less money than you paid for the car.
Not only money, but the time spent finding and financing a replacement.
Loss all around.
Glad to see your okay though. Thats all that ultimately matters you know.
