Yeah, on my last day of work @ Schering Plough, my colleagues gave me lots of gifts and one of the gifts I had was a WoW Basic + Expansion BC Set. I was like, omg I got a WoW set for free.
So, it doesn't kills me if I tried it out since it had one month of free-play. So far Ive played for 4 days already and already a level 14 blood elf rogue and a level 10 human warrior.
The game consists of tons and tons of quests, NO PURE GRINDING. You can grind too or do quests either way.
Ah well, I might reconsider to continue the subscription. But hey I do think SRO graphics are better.

Cudn't wait to get my mount at level 40. ^^

Compared to most free MMO's, WOW should seem good. I'll stick to City of Heroes myself.

Sounds like some punk open the package, stole the account number and put it back. The prepaid cards should be good though. Right now, the basic WoW is only 20 dollars.

lol, WoW is
not a grinding game, and if you do find your elf grinding you should note that there are waaaay more things to do then grinding. For example getting a trade skill (blacksmith, enchanter, alchemist, engineering,) or...you can fish all day long, Or fight under water. I find fighting under water enjoyable.

Think of this, WoW = 14$ as month, if you want to hit level 80 fast, you gotta buy silk, so a gold ticket + a monkey, or any pet for that matter, is atleast 30$ (for the first month)
Then the next month, its atleast 20$ for a monkey res, and a gold ticket.
Then once you hit cap, and if you suck at alchemy (most people do dont feel bad) and cant +5 your stuff without astrals.. your going to spend ALOT on astrals, seeings how, if it fails, you gotta buy another, and sometimes, the immortal dissapeares, meaning ANOTHER 5$ just so you can spend ANOTHER 5$ to add that astral back and watch it fail...
Id rather spend 14$ a month, enjoy myself, and not spend money on their shitty item mall.
10$ for 1 attempt at getting +5 to watch it fail.
pffft, i do +5 without astrals, HxC foo.
Anyways, lol just my 2 sense.

I'm not going to argue. I tried both, SRO is a good game. I like WoW now though.
The price, the customer support, the content, the size, the quests, the lack of grind, the gear, grouping, all around fun. All of which is better IMO.
Try it see if you like it. You can't judge it unless you've tried it.

No one! I think one time I really dug deep and level my fishing up to 87 on my warrior. I would think about 10% of the WoW players actually max their fishing skills.
