I played silkroad. I got to 70, got screwed over and got to 6x again. I put up with the bots, the ccfers, the scammers, the service, server traffic, the a$$holes. I wish someone had slapped me and made me try this trial.

I refused. I thought the game looked cartoony and I didn't want to leave my guild/friends. I was finally convinced to try it by a friend in school. I grudgingly tried it..but only after a few hours I realized this was an AMAZING game. I dropped silkroad in a second, got my friend's contact info and left. Pure int char with 125K+ SP sitting there with 60mil and awesome armor, i left it. WoW is a great game. I know not everyone likes it and there are some die-hard silkroad fans, but have u ever wondered why almost every MMORPG game someone plays is WoW. Its cuse this game is amazing. Service that responds, GMs that talk, no lag, no server traffic, a map probably 15 times bigger than SRO, and the gameplay is just amazing. Grind?? Wtf is that, in WoW you dont grind, you do quests with friends that dont just involve killing xxxx things.

Anyone indecisive about silkroad, try this game. If u dont like it, at least u tried for a day. I only wish someone had told me earlier.

For one thing, the free trial has been around for months. It's not news.

I played WoW. I got a character to level 33 and quit because the game was not as fun as Silkroad.

i got to 70 on silkroad too, ive had a good time playing it, but wow is far superior. cartoony graphics in wow sux rocks, but the gameplay is awesome.

Eh. I tried it today because im pestered by a friend for months now. I fought some birds with a big stick and this bubble magic shot. Fought some cougars. Some pigs tried to beat me up. Then some lvl 16 tiger pet did beat me up. And I danced a lot in town. and tried to jump over a big wall. Was real intense.

Ill stick to SRO

Give it a bigger shot, im having a great time. i got to 74 n SRO and this is a great break

I would like to try but i would really hate it if i couldnt stop playing! Then when the 10 days are up.....ill die.

i bought the game and evrything i bought pre paids cards for about 6 months when i tried to log in it says no account existed with that name and i tried to make a new one but when i did IT SAYS THAT CODE HAS ALREADY BEEN USED


AHHHHH and when i tried to return the cards THEY DIDNT ACCEPT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ouchh... that sounds awful T_T.. has nothing to do with wow's gameplay though. sell the cards to someone or something if you haven't opened them.

hmm yer ill prbly do that..theyre juz sitting in my cupboard the gameplay is good but the customer service smells like balls....

Yeah my pc can run sro and wow at the same time, but its kinda sluggish but not too bad

of course WOW is fun i just have no money to pay for it lol. (seriously im freakin poor) who wants to send me money in the mail!!!!

My friend has a lvl 50 account and he got a bot, he bought another $20 key and created a new account. Within the first 2 hours of botting his new account GMs were checking on him.......

I play this while botting on SRO, I am not addicted (haven't ever played over 4 hours per day and don't even play ever day)

I ment private servers.
They actually suck, because the player cap isn't more than 200 or something like that, but it's free.

I've played wow from the start. I came across sro, then played that for a few months, and got bored. But I was playing both at the same time. I stopped playing sro, coz it got so annoying. Went back to playing wow full time.
I then couldn't afford to pay for wow, so I had to give it up for a month or so. So I went back to playing sro to pass the time. When I got wow back I haven't played sro since.

I think if you experience most of the content in wow, you wouldn't go back to sro.

I have the opposite thing goin on Bastet, played WoW since beta, a friend told me about SRO so I gave that a shot.. quit SRO for the longest time for WoW then recently I've been more drawn to SRO so I now quit WoW for SRO.

That's probably the best private server out there right now.
The GM's are extremely friendly and approchable.
They have a normal server, a fun server and TBC test server.
There are usually over 100 players on at one time.
The latency is good overall.
There are very few bugs (and the GMs actively work to fix them)

um... encase someone hasn't answered this i will.

you could have created trial account and used the cards on that. oh and if you were stupid enough to load up your account with prepaid cards before actually logging in... well than i think you probably deserved it

oh and wow has customer service, if you would have talked to it the problem would have been solved.... quickly...

WoW is a great game lol, im a lvl 9 undead mage right now But its not as addicting as Silkroad

when u started wiht the 10 day trial u need a credit card..thats why i got the pre paids
