Hows the weather, Day/Night and stuff?
Do different chars have different abilities?
How many chars can you have?

It's kinda repetitive after you learn all your skills and run all the instances. The mobs behave according to certain rules i.e. attack highest ergo.
But the game itself is HUGE in term of things to do. It's so much deeper than anything other game I've played. It would take you years to experience all the class builds, all the spec trees, and professions (that is you just level to cap). And mostly, the game is very well designed. The only part that sucks is walking from A to B in lower levels (and being ganked or being a warrior lol).
The graphics rocks because it doesn't idolize skinny, large blossom chicks or perfectly proportioned hunks. You can look at them like the abstract of your personality.

They have very cool animations. In general, it's the best that anyone can make without requiring a high end graphic card to run. WoW requires very little hardware power.
To answer your questions:
Different class (e.g. warrior, priest, hunter, rogues, warlock, mage, shaman, druid, paladin) have entirely different spells. Each class can be personalize with different spec trees, which strengthen you in one discipline or another. 1 level = 1 talent point to spend from level 10 on.
Every class has their specialty. Hunters get to tame beasts like wolves, spiders, snakes, bears... to help them. Warlocks and mages can summon someone to fight with them. Certain class can heal other can.
The key in WoW is to understand your role and co-operate. But of course, you can choose to grind like mad if killing 10 of this/that is too hard for u.
You can have a lot of chars, at least 8 on each server I think. Thing is, if you're on a PvP server (i.e. Kill on sight server), you can't have char on opposed faction. That is, you can't have a horde char and an alliance char too.
Yes there's night time and day time. It's magnificently done.
But do yourself a favor, don't be an ass if you play WoW. Selfish misbehaviors like ninja looting, begging are heavily frowned upon for lack of a bitchier term.

i got an orc warrior to lvl 20-30 an orc warlock to lvl 20 in wow before i got bored of it.
Quests are boring because you spend most of your time running slowy from place to place (would get better at level 40 with a mount i suppose)
I tired doing other things to, like my warlock was an enchanter and a tailor, got those skills pretty high and made a bit of money but that was boring too.
I tried the pvp things like warson gulch (or whatever it was called) and that other one which i cant remember the name of either

and the arena thing but they were all pretty boring too.
the only thing i could relate to after playing so much silkroad was grinding, and if thats all its good for i might as well grind with good graphics, lol
I suppose thats all my opinion though, you might like it.

Thnx Rom.
lol Hells i'v downloaded it once and it took me forever so ill just buy it instead.
Im sure its worth the money XD
Is it easy to get bored like if you dont know anyone?
Or is it still fun even if you play alone most of the time?
You just cant play GuildWars by yourself, way too boring.
So i hope WoW aint like that.

heres a tip...don't you dare be a rogue or people (especially casters) will hate you. And roll on a pvp server pve servers are for crytowels. Last thing if you want to destroy I would advise you to roll horde (races are:undead(zombies),tauren(giant cows),orcs, bloodelves(the fruity version of nightelves), and trolls.
Tauren have a ability called warstop which can stun in aoe
Undead have Wotf (will of the forsaken) which makes you immune to charm, fear, and sleep
orcs have 15% resistance to stuns and the fury ability (which raises atk power by 4)
trolls have berserk which increases attack speed
and bloodelves(male) have the ability to change the hair to a different style. (female) have the ability to seduce any male she sees.

Make friends. You give and you will receive. The guilds I am in is full of selfish, me-me-me, I-do-more-DSP-than-you, only-I-know-this-instance people.
I don't play the game to get to 70 as fast as possible. I'm a casual player. Don't care about being leetest. (But i'm more than capable of defending myself and excel at my role in instance runs.)
As a casual player, it's not that addicted; not with me anymore anyway.

WOW is the best...you'll never touch SRO again. Well, maybe you will, but I haven't.

the IMO thing that makes WoW superior to SRO is the great storyline which sro lacks therefor quest are tied onto the stroyline making quest more fun then the usual sro kill x monsters

All of my Friends are Addicted to WOW.. quit silk ...but ofcourse they have to pay ..i am just cheap so i play silk

..ahha... but i am sure it is a great game..
WOW is a complete game that you pay for... everything feature they have in there u can actually do... not like silk... joymax does whatever they please because no one bought the game...it is free.. no obligation to make the game better... as long as they have their botters and a few addicted players they are set..

this is why i believe my friends are soo into it! and not silk...
I just dont want to get addicted to another game..and the money issue ofcourse..ahah..

The itemization is more broad as well. Not just +str +int, etc.

I don't have the money to pay $15 per month for WoW so I looked into private servers. I joined one called Gangsta's Paradise (
http://www.gangstasparadise.us.tt). The game experience Isn't as good as the normal Blizzard servers, but if you find a guild and get some of your freinds to play it can really be enjoyable.

if wow is boring than sro shouldnt even be called a game. i hated the graphics but the gameplay overshadows it.
in silkroad all i ever could do was:
-grind
-hunt/thief/trade own everyone(unless botter.)
-grind
-18 bucks a month for gold ticket and time thing for pet
in wow:
-grind
-group grind/quest
-dungeons that live up to the name dungeons(donwhang cave is not a dungeon)
-participate in special event quests/the events themselves
-run around killing anyone/everyone because you can(no thief/hunter suit needed)
-conduct/participate in city/town/territory raids
-battlegrounds with people around your level so its fair
-do gladiator esque arena fights
-actually ride on the boats... instead of teleporting to the other "ferry"
- /dance
- 15 bucks a month for a game that steps on silkroad
the game gets more fun as you level higher. it took me plenty hours to reach cap on silkroad(at 70 cap). i experienced everything there is to experience in sro. and wow kills it.
to enjoy silkroad to its fullest you have to pay up some cash. sure you could argue that its not fun because its not complete. but hell... wow is complete, but not really, since it e x p a n d s.
i wish i had listened to my friend when his game(wow) pwned mine(sro), because now i totally agree with him. this was about a year and a half ago btw lol.
if wow requires you to grind like a zombie, then sro requires you to grind [insert something worse than zombie here]
congratulations on wanting to try out wow. its hard to get out of that "omg sro is the best game in the world" effect that sro gives you.

I think people in WoW would be amazed how much time i can spend on grinding

lol..
SRO is so not the best game ever lol, i just hate quiting it and leaving my guild behind and stuff >.<
I would prefer playing Sims2 lol but i dont have the new expansions, so its boring
But SRO aint fun anymore, it feels like a job rather than a game -__-
I want a game that allows me to do other stuff when i dont feel like lvling or whatever, and seems like WoW has shitload of stuff to offer.
I have my old guildies from SRO who play WoW now so they will hook me up with some stuff when i start

Its just a fun experience.
5v5 Arena PvP
10v10 Capture the Flag
15v15 Territory Claiming
40v40 All out War to kill their General
and Instances\Raids are challenging. I duno if there really is anything challenging about SRO.
if you play the expansion and hit 70, you get a FLYING mount, and you can soar in the skies
PS, roll horde.
Horde racials pwn, the only thing I am envious of alliance of is Diplomacy (rep grinding) and Escape Artist, but everything else horde pwns (mana tap, WOTF, Bloodfuy, War Stomp)
