after watching a replay of Arnold's End of Days, got me thinking, how are you suppose to stop Satan? there is a part of the movie goes like this:

a man (possessed by Satan) walks into a Church (a house of God!!!) to get his chick back. a Father sees him and realizes who the man really is, takes out his Cross and says his thing "By the power of God, I command thee...." [the man grabs the Cross (which should burn his hand according to some movies) and stabs the Father in the head]

Arnold once said in the movie "Between your faith and my Glock 9mm, I choose my Glock" but however, this is one of the cases where guns cant do jack sht, the man took a HE grenade (launched from a grenade launcher) to the chest, 5min later.... HE POPS BACK UP!!!

worst part is that, say, you totally destoryed his human body, Satan can just dump that body and come possess yours (just like the movie where Arnold became possessed himself)

so any comments or thoughts?

Satan(Lucifer, the archangel) made ze music in heaven. God praised him for it(Good job, you're doing great...etc...etc...) and it got to Satan's head. Satan started rounding peeps up to come jump God. Of course, god alrdy knew this. So satan comes up to God's throne...all pumped with his peeps, capped +11 gear and everything. God goes...*smack* and sends Satan to earth. And gives him his own little domain. Now, back in ze old testament people's souls...don't remember, the thing is God sent his son to die for our sins, then he went to Hell(yes, jesus went to hell) and took ze key from ze devil, saying "Well, I've alrdy died for ALL their sins...so you might aswell hand it

Why is ze devil still here? Because God doesn't like evil things.
Why is God doing all this? Free will. He wants us to CHOOSE him.

Of course this isn't straight from ze bible but paraphrased by me.

Devil was thrown down to Earth.

Hey, draq, I think I have something to add and change to your story.
I havent read Revelations, but heres what I do remember, correct me if Im wrong cos youve already read it...

K, so there will be this evil person (respresent of the satan) wholl decieve everybody and gain world domination. With his poewrs he will make everybody who oppose him to suffer, meaning that every one that believes in something other than Satanism will suffer. Then theres God coming to help us :roll:

. There will be this thing called the Transfer, or The Carryover (sounds lame) or whatever, but in a blink of an eye everybody who believes in God will be instantly taken off the Earth and cerried to Heaven. Then, every single person left on Earth will have to experiense all kinds of terror falling upon them, meteors, earthquakes, fires, floods, all will be wiped out, and after the terror lasts for 7 years itll be only Satan left. Then, theres this mighty, heavenly light that destroyes Satan. So Earth becomes an empty place, then God carries everybody back to Earth and there will be only pure souls, that know no evil, therefore nothing bad will happen and Earth will be the perfect place. The time when God returns people back to Earth will mark the beginning of a new and perfect era and there is no more Satan, no more evil and so....

The earthquakes and wars and badness are a SIGN.

Then the people who truly beleive in God, and have given their soul to him will dissapear. Like that. Bam.

The people who will stay on Earth will have NO IDEA of WTF is going on. Of course some people who dissapear will be driving all kind of machinery, so plane crashes, accidents, and all kind of craziness will follow.

Great confusion will engulf the Earth.

Then Mr. Satan comes into play.

Every1 will like him. He will be liked by every1. Except those who know who he truly is.

Whole bunch of stuff happens. They rebuild the holy temple. They will announce the seven years of "Peace". In the temple of god Satan will declare himself to be god. And since every1 will love this dude, every1 will beleive and bow down to him. Seven years of absolute darkness will folow.

Then jesus will come down a THIRD time(one was the cross, second was when he took ze people) and take those who have withstood the adversities, and have not let themselves be marked by the seal of the beast, and worship god.(the beast=satan).

Its a hard book to understand, I know.
But there is a game, a book, and a movie for it to be more easy for you to understand ze truth.

Also, some people believe that the time that is spoken of in the Revelation comes now. The evil person is Saddam (though hes no longer free), the zunamis and world problems in recent years are connected with the Revelation, but ofcourse it has nothing to do with present time and also it is believed that the Revelation describes the times it was written in.

The rapture, cuz that's how it's called, will take place soon. All signs point to this. In the book of Ezekiel is says that at the end of time god will gather his people from all over the world. The state of Israel has been created (49 years ago). So the end of everything is near. All believers will dissapear in the blink of an eye. This is what the book of revelation says: the people left behind will be forced to wear the anticrist's sign on the right hand or on the forehead, and they shall be under the anticrist's control. (think about today's biometric passports. high ranking US officials have a chip implanted into their right arm...). Think about those factors. The end is near, and God will judge the world soon.

The end is always near. A good christian fears and obeys, and hopes to be saved in the event that this ever happens. Personally I'm content with my lifestyle, let God decide whether I do good enough or not. Until then, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
