Ok, i want to take a break from silkroad until joynax fixes things.

Are there any good MMO's anybody would recommend that are free?

When you say free do you mean "no monthly pay2play bill but still manages to trick $20 a month from your wallet" or completely free?

I keep seeing topics with this exact topic name I swear lol.

Yep, i know i have made atleast 1 of them. We should just sticky a list of good ones really.

hmm, If it was good enough i guess i wouldnt mind spending money on it.
I have tried FlyFF and *gulp* RuneScape and they both suck.

Scions of Fate and Rappelz are the ones fresh in my mind, check them out and see what they are like, i dont remember.

A lot of people are waiting for 2Moons because it's going to be completely free, and supposidly is really good.

You could try your luck in getting a beta account.. mine is still pending.

im playing everquest 2 now, its a bit like WoW, but it looks 200 times better. Also its not free, stop being a cheap ass and buy some games! lol

Rappelz is horrible. I tried telling myself it wasn't for 30 levels and then I couldn't take it any more. Not only is it pure grind, you fight the same exact enemies over and over and over again, except when you're on noobie island they're level 5 and called "Nimble Poulty" and wh en you're level 50 they're called "Rage Battle Pecker" and they're the same stupid chicken but OMG THEY R RED NOW.

haha i forgot about that. thats true same dumb names and a different shade of color and POOF new monster.

here ya go ziddy, then again their still making this one, yet maybe it will be cool, when it comes out . Not sure if it will be p2p or f2p.

I'm waiting for AION as well, but it will take awhile.

GW is made by NCsoft. Aion is made by NCsoft. Only other major mmo company I can think of is Webzen.

I took a break from silkroad also, I played rapplez or w/e and it sucks.
Then moved to 9Dragons, and i'm still there, infact i'm not leaving it.
2 moons does look good, I got CB invite but not going to test it since char will be wiped on OB.
Really not going to leave 9Dragons, I think its a great game.
Money is easy to come by, upgrade armor with relics and other items.
Upgrade items,and there adding a PVP server soon.
Only thing they need which i think they will add is the auction house , herd there were going to add it.
And I think they need to add trade skills, fishing,crafting,mining etc.
They were suppose to add fishing for sure some time down the line.
Other then that, i'll enjoy my grind time in the land.

and they also have had 2 events there since i've started, and pretty decent at that.

there are pvp servers and non pvp servers

oh good...because no pvp in any mmorpg automatically sucks....at least for me....

That's the same reason I stopped playing. Too bad the game play sucks. Aside from that the characters are cool-looking.
