Well, we all know we game. But for what purpose? Is it just a hobby, stress-reliever, or the whole point of your existence.

For me gaming is my dream career. I plan to graduate as a game designer, and be part of a respected company one day. Gaming is part of my life.

Now the real question is:
What does gaming mean to YOU?

It's just something I've done since I can remember. One of my earliest memories I have, PERIOD, is of me and my little bro sitting at my dads feet while he sat on our bed - taking turns on the Atari and on the Nintendo for Mario. And then Sonic. My dad loved Sonic and Mario lol.

I was no older than 4, I think I may have been three though. Been gaming obsessively on a full-time basis since then. Allthough since I got outta HS and started working I've been playing alot less. Cos I can't.

Me and my bro have always considered ourselves above these so called 'gamers'. The one's who you see competeting at 'chamionships' on live TV...and they god damn blow ass compared to you LOL. Seen it with so many games that I play. Also generally speaking, a gamer is some immature little kid who thinks he's better at games than he really is. Your typical gamer uses codes and watches 'Cheat' and actually writes down the cheats and codes. Gamers shouldn't cheat at games. That's like saying you're smart cos you cheat and get good grades on your tests in school.

That's all just me though. I'm a crazy bastard.

b) eating
c) at school
d) doing homework
e) playing sports (football, tennis)
f) at a chess tournament
g) just chillin with friends. (well actually, most of my friends are gamers so scratch that)

i have no life so i game...50:50 on that quote i dont have much of a life i mean im on silkroad forum about 12 hours+ a day

i game for fun most of the time, but sometimes as a stress reliever or anger reliever. instead of throwing stuff at my bf i kill monsters instead.

Pulling an all-nighter is done with homies you can see and talk to and hear and feel and get fuct up with. Well my kinda all nighter anyways lol. Whatever floats your boat...but I just had to comment on that statement that you only pull all-nighters while playing games. Opposite of me. MMO's put me to sleep, I'd need CS:S or BF2142 to play all night.

Tho i have a good relation ship with my mother and 2 sisters ( 19 y/o sister who just left to live on herself, and my lovely 3 y/o sister ). And i also have enough friends in RL that come over/i go to, and i talk with people on TS/vent all day long..
So im not a nolifer but i game all day long

Yea is Stress reliever P.s but not always.

It's a stress reliever for me, when first heard my parents were divorcing, I just played games as much as I was allowed, it helps me take my mind off other things.
