Hi all ^^
Anyone happens to know a good private server for WoW?
Im searching for one without increased xp rates and stuff, just a plain private server but with some people on it, not that im leveling on my own lol

Not worth it, it's the experience you get from WoW that makes it a good game.

Its not worth it to pay monthly fees to play wow, now as i said im searching for a private server without the xp increasers, i dont really care if its illegal or not

well i am poor so i cannot pay the monthly fees...
and whats so different about it the only difference from normal wow is that there are less people around...who cares if there are 1000 peepz instead of a million...

now just post if you know a good server u cant change my mind about going to private anyway...

Some of the best private servers out there. You should try these out just to waste some time and fool around. But I would recommnd finding a way to get $15 a month if your really adament about playing wow, because you only get 15% of the experience of playing wow, on a private server.

Edit- in response to your most recent post, wow is only fun because of how many people play it. Everything thats make wow such a great game involves people. You can't raid without people. You can't PVP without people.

And private servers can at a maximum hold 200 people. Most blizzard servers have 5000+ people on a server, and yet you only see 50-100 on at any one time. Think about it.

And yes i know playing in large groups is really good fun, but paying €15 a month is a bit to much for me for just playing a game...and it will remain to much for me for at least 2 more months, perhaps after the next 2 months i will switch to normal WoW, that is, if I still like it in that period ofcourse

Btw can anybody tell me where to get the wow version 1.12 ?
I see alot of guides but they only give out the patches, I need to reinstall the game fully with version 1.12 but where?
Or am i mistaking and do i only need the patch? That wouldnt be what the guides tell me though...

You'll need a fresh install of WoW with no patches on it, then you search google for wow patch 1.12, download the exe, run it, it will update, then your set.

Where can i find a fresh wow download w/o the patches?

If you do play a private server, let me tell you from experience that you wont be playing for long. The game is meant for mass multiplayer for a reason. You will get insanely bored and lose interest in no time.

Yeah well im calling it a day, it seems impossible for me *again* to get wow up and running on a private server (while it does works for anybody else), i wonder why I am always the one getting a hard time on anything while others get it all so easy.

Stupid wow paying 15€ a month stupid money addicts are they crazy driving prices up sky high.

Private servers are free, the game isn't. You will need to get the CDs by buying them directly or getting them from a friend. There is always an option of "attempting" to download the 5 gigs of game from an illegal source, but finding the file let alone waiting 3 days for it will be hard.

if you go to a private server, good luck doing bg's with 3 people in them... good luck finding and selling items in the unused auction house.. have fun enjoying your fast grind to 70, even when the rate is a lot faster than silkroad's on the official blizzard server... good luck raiding stormwind/orgrimmar with 10 people >.>... and finding people to do 5 man dungeons and 40 man raids with <.<..

I bought 3 months worth of wow. Liked it and was too ghetto poor to pay the monthly fee. So I went through the private server phase like you are doing, as well as everyone else who is telling you about it went through also.

Private servers suck. What makes WoW isn't the game, it's the people. Playing it on a private server is illegal in many countries, so the private servers are hosted, in what seems like, wooden cabins in the middle of eastern russia. The ping is high, people barely speak, there's no economy, no parties and no one to do anything with. Since the game was built for massive multiplayer, you need big parties (eg 40 man) to go through alot of the content in the game. Otherwise you'll get to 17ish and quit because it's too slow, you can't do instances and it's like playing a bad single player game.

I'm now one of those people "getting ripped off".

Well he said before he cant pay for it didnt he? I think its been explained enough that he wont get close the same experience without the regular servers. but he wont get close to the regular servers without money, so i guess he has to play private servers.

Ha yeah he can. But also some people dont care to put that money down monthly for the game. I know I dont, even if i had the money to pay. Im sure its a great game, or people wouldnt pay for it. But its preference if you care to pay that money per month or if you have something else you would rather put it toward.

agree wif the experience part and the argument of how much people... wow is not some single player game, i used to play simulator and i can one hit kill all the mobs wif a weapon that i created...

btw, some private server can hold 2000 people now

If it was only the one-time purchase of the game it self it wouldnt be a problem, but not only you have to buy the game but you have to pay monthly fees :S now that is what we call a ripp off, the creators of WoW are probably gazillionaires and they do nothing with it, ridiculous.

Furthermore, I already KNOW I wont have the full WoW experience so why do y'all keep repeating that, the only thing I ask is a link to version 1.12 or another solution, I dont care about the experience for me its either playing on a private server or not playing at all, cause i will NEVER pay those ridiculous monthly fees...

Wowcrack and WowRevolution on that wowscape site i gave have no lag

They have odd downtimes though.. I was on WoWcrack recently so I'm not sure if it was just from switching emulator versions or what.
