TIP OF THE DAY!!

1 half tea spoon of cayenne pepper powder (very cheap in any grocery store)

3/4 of a pint of warm water.


gargle and sip very slowly, the cayenne is a lil hot on the lips but you can always compromise on how much you add. seriously, good tip i just fought off the worst sorethroat this weekend doing this (y) and for those of u who like spicy food, this is a treat hehe, its not even that bad and tastes alot better then salt water, that stuff makes me gag

oh ya, im relle bored..

Yes it is. And I have heard of boiling water and adding salt and gargling, never pepper. ill have to get a sore throat and try.

that was what i was brought up doing, untill I met a very nice japanese guy while i was out for dinner this weekend at a popular sushi bar in downtown toronto, he realized i was sick and put this lil remedy together for me and wow did i tip that guy alot, not only did he make great sushi, but he also healed me with his cayenne and water, gargle and sip method. worked amazing

Well maybe tone it down, because the yanky friends dont take it the same as a londoner would maybe.

same here....water helps, or anything else non-dairy based

I dont know what it is but gargling with Salt, and pepper it seems also heals the throat problem. Its not just like a temporary thing so your throat wont hurt, actually can fix it right up.

meng, I wish I get this tip (or any tips) earlier. I'd had like a week of sore throat but I'm all better today.
