I HATE MICROSOFT WORD

OMG, it's ridiculous. You type or delete something, and it ends up adjusting your whole page, so then you have to spend 20 minutes going back and editing all the margins and spamming your tab/space buttons. I'm about to launch my keyboard through the window :banghead:

It's not about making mistakes it's about having to do stuff in specific formats with different indentations, such as outlines.
So you press enter and it automatically things you want it to be at the same level as it was before, when you want to to be 5 spaces to the left. So you press backspace, you end up getting 5 lines shifted all over the place, you end up having to slide the slider, **** everything up some more. You finally manage to get it looking almost even by spending 50 minjutes adjusting the slider on top, and at the end none of the lines are perfectly indented.
I swear next time I do something like this that requires youto indent lines and have stuff all over the place, I'm using wordpad. :x

Oh ok. That happens to me too. Sometimes I can get it to work but other times I can't. It may have to do with when and where you started the formatting and whatnot. M$ is equally to blame

I dunno if openoffice will do what you want the way you want it but switch to openoffice anyway.

Haha yeah, when I was in Elementary School I got a sign-up folder for a typing-and-MS Word-course. I didn't wanted to go, but my parents sent me anyways. I was the only girl there and it was SO boring! :x

It does come in handy that I can type blind and know about Word, but I'll never admit it to my parents, hee hee.

Compared to Apple's Appleworks (or whatever it's called), Word is win.

That's not saying much for it though.

try fixing your mistakes on a typewriter then complain about using a word processing program.
