So as every SRF'er ought to know by now, Im a noob. Im a total Farking noob when it comes to everything involving computers, its a wonder of the modern age i get anything done.
Well anyway i downloaded that trendy little "Mozilla FireFox" today and uhm. Well it owns and thats about all i can say. You can like customize the settings way mroe than IE would let you its just pure pwnage.
The reason i made the switch (finally yes i know i know) is because Ie7 kept crashing on me, like consistently. Id type in a url, it would go to the page, then an error report would pop up, and BOOM every browser or tab i had open would disappear.
It was pretty horirble, especailly cuz ive been trying desperately to get onto MySpace, battle.net (wc3 thing...guides and stuff), and PhotoBucket especially.
Well anyway i'll have to thank Draquish for inspiring me on this one.
But i need a lil help...
how do i make it so it wont put the Red Underlines under all my typos? i typo tons so its just kind of annoying to see a page practically filled with red

.
Well anyway...
Ya i just wanted to share that...
Now if only i coudl try out that "opera" thingie everyone is buzzing about.
Im so behind the times. Which sucks cuz im 15.

This might help.
(I'm on the danish version, so it makes it harder.)
First, open firefox.
-> Go to funktions (Nr. 6 at the top). -> Choose the bottom one. -> Choose the 3rd leaf. -> Go to colors. -> Take underline from links off. Could work, dunno if it does.

I recommend the following add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/446/
I don't use it to launch media in another window though. I use it because when you're watching anything in a video, music or flash player, you get a little black arrow icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. If you click that it will usually give you the option to download whatever you're watching/hearing.

Noooooo, spellcheck is good for you! Geedunk's suggestion won't work. It will only affect HTML links.

humm
it seems that that option is already turned off.
its ok it only shows the typo line when im typing, after my posts are made it doesnt show up.
So its not that bad ^_^
thanks though :]
its funny cuz everything you said was there but in an english versin so instead of funktions, it was tools, and then options and ya...
uhm.. hehe.
;edit;
omg wow in the time it took me to write that reply, geedunk replied again, and bake replied...
weird... O_o *twilight zone theme plays lol*

When you download em, they'll install themselves and you just gotta restard firefox.
- If it doesn't autoinstall, it'll force you to read the friggin guide and install it.

ohhh well i was reading the features of FastFox or whatever, and it sounded complex, but you are right once again, it auto-installed everything...
Now how about the SecureFox thing you wanted me to dl?
Im leary because when i dl'ed that same thing but for IE, thats what messed up my whole IE, and thats what made me get FireFox in the first place.
Humm. =\

Noscript makes advertisements and flash objects not loading. You can right-click and choose which items to see and which not to see.
I got it installed, and if you don't like it, you can just uninstall it again.

I got a LOT more crashes on firefox than on IE.
I'm currently using IE right now, and it's fine, it now has most of the main features that made firefox "better" anyway. Only thing that I miss is being able to zoom in on pics in the browser.. but it's not gonna kill me.
