Which one do YOU prefer to both play and watch?

Football most of the time to play/watch. I dont think a single American kid wasnt born playing pickup games of football.

Soccer is fun to play but sucks to watch. Football is fun to watch, but I suck at playing it.

I like soccer. I like football too but for me soccer > football, to play, and I guess when its a good game soccer is more fun to watch. Unfortunately I only seem to see good games for a few weeks every 4 years >.>

Soccer=miles of running if you're putting even a half-assed effort into it.
Football=hard hits, crazy passing/catching, and well less running than soccer.

i'd say soccer. fun to watch and fun to play. some of the soccer tricks are crazy. the only down side seems to be too little scoring. every time i watch football (not that often actually) all i see is running... running... keep running, you are almost there...

shooting ftw, btw it's recommended that people who might get heart attack should not watch shooting competitions.

Football is the only "real" sport in my eyes. You need about every physical talent to be good at it.
Strength, speed, endurance, plus to be able to outwit your opponent. It's both physical and strategic.
