best video editor period is final cut pro, but its for macs only

Adobe Premire.
Vegas.
Final Cut is amazing on macs.

Big fan of Vegas. You can use the trial version for 30 days. Damned if I can figure out how to wipe Sony's information from my registry to use the trial a second time, though.

If you have a Mac you *can* use iMovie. It's not a *good* editor but it might have come with your computer (and thus be free). Final Cut is worlds better.

I have never used Adobe but it's very popular in the industry. A lot of the people I've done work for as a sound man swear by it. It costs $$.

Final Cut Pro is awwwesome for editing, but as TyeMaiShu said, it's for Macs.

But Vagas does the job, eh.

I'd like to add :
Adobe After Effects - best on Windows I've heard
Ulead Video Studio 10 - good enough 2 do sumthing, but sux at burning -.-

I don't use Mac but I might try it :)
