Krav Maga is self defense training, not what is traditionally considered to be a martial art.

Darn you Masta. After all my making-fun-of and insults, I finally decided to try out Krav Maga. I loved it. I'm sticking with it for the rest of the year. >_>.

whoa res thread eh? Well since it's alive I might as well tell mine.

I train in mixed martial arts(you know, the fighting you see on UFC and PRIDE). I'm training in jiujitsu and muay thai as well as wrestling and boxing.

I took about 8 years in taekwondo which really helped my stand up ability, but taekwondo is just an olympic sport so not all techniques you learn are effective such as ridge hands or knife hands but it really improves your footwork.

But the important thing to learn is that it's not entirely about fighting style. It's also all in the fighter himself.

Anderson Silva (Muay Thai technician and Jiujitsu Blackbelt), probably pound for pound the best middleweight fighter out there. Dominated every fighter in the UFC. here are some perfect examples:

Anderson Silva vs Rich Franklin II
http://www.mmatko.com/rich-franklin-vs- ... ght-video/

Anderson Silva vs Chris Leben
This was a funny fight. Chris leben was always a cocky trash-talker and to see him knocked out silly was satisfying xD. Was defintely no match for anderson.

Anderson Silva vs. Nate Marquardt

This was amazing considering the fact that nate was so much bigger than anderson, but still anderson managed to demolish him. His groundfighting ability is phenomenal.

capoeria sorry for the sp.. taht martial arts looks deadly -.-... but must take true patience for all that flexibility and concentration. compare to tkd, tkd is nothing lol... ppl in there think tiger kick or 540 hook kicks are real demonstration... but i guess a person with capoeria martial arts can show difference lol.

I've always wanted to train in Judo. Will go very nice with my jiu-jitsu training, besides I can't always rely on the basic trips and takedowns =_=).

Hopefully wanderlei will be able to come back and destroy jardine in the next UFC.
