Now playing Stranglehold, a lvl34 Tauren Druid on Duskwood.
Everyone on these forums plays on a diff server unfortunately, except Ryoko and rom (alliance).
You should've begun when the expansion came out, lots of people rerolling for the new classes. If you haven't played it b4 I can understand not wanting to get committed and buying the exp.

Takes soooo loooonnnggg to install. God hates me, so while installing BC on the 2nd disc the comp froze and I had to restart. Now when I put in the BC CD it says Install, and when I try and install it says it's already installed. I HATE computers.


It seems like WoW is gonna work though...DLing some huge ass patch now..almost 500 MB...

You might need delete the wow directory and reinstall from scratch, the BC cd has written some data to the original wow mpqs, and it's impossible to find and remove em all. When you cancel a BC install, it unwrites all this data, when your computer shuts off, the command to unwrite never gets sent.

And on a somewhat related note, do not EVER shut off, or have your comp shut off during a wow loading screen, it will corrupt your NTFS or FAT system, and render your computer useless. (Newer computers system check and fix the corrupted partitions, older ones... don't.) This happened to both my laptop and my sexy comp, the laptop was 5 years old, and did not repair itself, so I tore it apart and sold the parts rather then spending 200 bucks to get it fixed, my sexy comp repaired itself in 5 seconds

Oh, and I'm supposed to be asleep right now, no one saw me post this post ; )

Yeah I had to uninsall WoW and then do it all over again...I wasted 2 hours of my life watching al 5 discs install the first time.

My comp likes to crash mixmax, I can't help but have to shut it off sometimes when I really shouldn't. If it freezes won't it sit there frozen for eternity?

EDIT: Had to go to work right as it was DLing that 492MB patch...I wanna play gahhhhhhh.

Well I had a friend on a comp next to me.. I watched him make a techno song on Cubase, play Urban Terror, AND I laid down for awhile...all while glancing at the slow moving progress of the WoW installation. It sucks that you can't just straight up leave since you have to change the discs...I woulda went and done somethin else.

Lol I know when I'm not feelin a game. For the past week or two, I'd log into SRO, grind for a little while, like an hour...and I'd find myself contemplating logging off from boredom every time I rebuffed.

I finally quit Runescape when I would log in and just sit there looking at my char going 'huh...what should I do...'

It took like 5 years for RS, SRO took like...4 months. Shitty game overall, Runescape is so much more entertaining on the whole. Not that SRO isn't hella tight in its own way.

Nuklear Duskwood is full. So I joined Darkspear with SDubb. I'll hit you up SDubb.

I got to lvl 6 last night and this morning, that game is hella fun lol. The time of little sleep has come again for me heh heh...I'm an undead mage. IGN Rakion.

That's alright, but you know full doesn't actually mean you can't join, right? Even at peak hrs on weekends the wait is a max of 5min. Oh well.
