Is it hard? Lets see.

Start of your daily training with a 2 mile run (or more if you dont totally despised how much running sucks)

Then maybe 6 rounds of jump rope. If your in hurry thats 2 minutes each, if not then 3. So 12-18 minutes. In between rounds (30 seconds) you knock out 20 push-ups per round.

Unfortunately today is 'station training'. Theres many areas set up in the gym, and you spend 2 minutes doing each, then switch on the bell

2 mins Weighted punches
2 mins Non weighted punches
2 mins Thai kicks (heavy bag)
2 mins Flutterkicks
2 mins Crunches
2 mins Clinch
2 mins Medicine ball
2 mins Push-ups with bars
2 mins Thai Squats
2 mins Knee thrusts

If your not crawling on the floor yet, you didnt work hard enough.

So to finish the day, gonna do 50 special sittups.

You lay on your back. Your partner hits you in the stomach. You do the situp and back down. Repeat.

(Those are my favorite, I likes a lot.)

Tuesdays is technique
Thursdays is cardio (like above)
Sundays is open sparring Thai / MMA

Not every day is that hard. But some go two MMA / Cage class THEN kickboxing.

But see this does not take any special or expensive equipment to do; anyone can do most of these exercises. You dont need an Ab-Roller to tune the tummy. Maybe your not conditioning for a 15 minute full out ring fight, but you could take 10 minutes every three days to knock out 50 sittups. Eventually 100 becomes easy.

For good 8 pack results make sure to work the lats by using them for some of the sittups (turn, twist...)

If you just want to improve your weight, or improve your cardio, running and diet alone will do it.

-Walking is BS dont bother. Jog and sprint - or go home.
-Dont eat entire bag of Oreos after dinner then cry your overweight
-If you get cramps, you need more water, and less sugar.
-If you get tired fast, sleep more and eat better

Biggest reason people cramp when running is cuz of SODA. Yup. It kills you. Caffeine dehydrates you, and sugar cramps your muscles up when exercising. Pop is made of black, sludgy syrup and suger mixed into carbo-water. Its nasty. Like black guck running through your veins.

A big part to being in shape / losing weight is DEDICATION. Don't do it twice then give up. Decide to do it, and stick with it. Yeah it sucks ass for the first few weeks, totally. But after a couple weeks, it gets easier, and easier - eventually you really start to like it.

Sure, some hot head will say "I carry 150 lb sandbags through a tire course" blah blah. But thats a good way to hurt your back and stuff.

Be certain to drink plenty of water, and eat plenty. Or you'll die...or something

I'm impressed! .....But I don't think I'm going to try it. I just KNOW I'm gonna crawl on the floor for the rest of my life
And I think the view is better from when I'm standing on my feet. Even though I don't even reach 5ft.

Ryoko, wth? That's hardcore yo!

@RuYi... lol

I'm a big believer in exercise.. one way or another. It's healthy for you lifestyle. Be it weigh training, kickboxing, taichi or some kind of a sport... Pick something you enjoy doing and do it. That's important that you like it because then you don't feel the enxiety of the process. I hear a lot of people say: "I have to go to the gym, I ate too much this morning". They look at the gym as a place to lose weight, not to get fit.

I like outdoor activities/sports like tennis, baseball. I play tennis, suck at it, like every other day.

You don't have be cut but you need to be in shape because your health influences your mental being as well. Sitting around, playing too much game, work in offices too long, watch too much TV... boo! Abusing alcohol, cigrarettes are definitely no no...

I might sound like an old hag (like most of the time) but you'll see that I'm right.

Yeah you sound like an old hag, Rom, but we still love you :P

seriously, any girl with 8-pack has too much testosterone. No thank you (refering to the 8-pack girls of course). :P

Well a lot of people don't realize that it becomes a lifestyle; a GOOD gym or good academy is close knit, they become somewhat family. Its a community thing, making new friends and working with others, learning. Plus hanging out, going to shows, events, dinners, out of town training, etc.

And hey I like fit girls =) 8 pack me baby

Wait, I like those girls all fine and tan rollerblading all over our park, with them little spandex on the bootay

The lord is my shepard, HE KNOW what I want!!!!!!

The hardest part of the 8 pack is the lats and lowrs; easy to get 4, but getting those lats and lower two in takes a lot of work

Nice training regimen man, really for MMA setting huh? Do you have any plans of fighting/have you fought before?

Haha the special situps are the best. Gotta love that part of training.

Umm, I gotta admit, for me this seems pretty easy. Like a small version of my basketball conditioning. We run about 5 miles, jog a few more, and that's all before school (6AM). Then after school we go into less running, more training type of stuff. But I don't know, I guess most people who play this game don't do much physical activities.

You seem pretty cool, even though I've always hated your avatar for some reason.

yeah the training seems easy.

its different when the hitting parts come though. breaking the limits of overtraining isnt exactly easy

It's a good scheduale. I've been a boxer all my life, but I quit this spring, and it doesnt only make u a hard hitting stud, it also teaches you alot about diets and how the body works. That's an excellent scheduale..the good thing about these sorts of sports is you get a very all-around practice for your hole body and you really feel good all the time even tho you work out really hard.

As much as any kind of physical training is good for your body, it is also good for your mind. Exercise is a great weapon against depression and lethargy. If you're someone who is constantly tired, who sleeps until noon even when they don't stay up late, just doesn't feel like getting up in the mornings, regular exercise and especially intense training will really help. With some of the eastern martial arts programs you also get some philosophical discipline which a lot of people really enjoy.

If you think his motorcycle is cool, you should see his bow on SRO. It's friggen' sweet. Ryoko is also a really nice guy :-) Said a little hello and made my way when I saw him in town, but he actually responded. I felt like I talked to a GM hehe. Anyway.

Why is the rest of this topic so off topic?
