Sadly my "Featherfin catfish" died.
Had the fish 14-years.

"Overall, I think the Catfish was 25-years old or more.

Well.. If you're lucky, and with proper care.. Fish can live for several years.

I already have two.. BuDo
A baby one, and the second one... are in the same age as the dead one.

A buddy of mine has had some serious bad luck with his fish.

One got a tumor of some sorts and died.
A bunch of em died without any particular indication why. Possibly stress of some sort.
And a whole batch died when the auto-feeder and purifier malfunctioned during summer break... They came home to the smell of fish rotting for weeks D:

We used to have some goldfish as well.
1 Turned silver, but lived quite a long while.
1 Died after swallowing my sister's hair. You could see one end stick out from his mouth and the other from his butt... It went through his entire system before it killed him D:

Damn dude, sorry for your loss.

Maybe look into getting yourself miniature piggi. I had mine for couple of years, hey are excellent companions.
