I know this is not exactly new, but a friend sent it to me on Skype the other day, and I found it quite funny.

Would you walk into a Wendy’s, look around at all the people eating hamburgers, then announce that you hate hamburgers?
I’m guessing you would not.

I doubt any haters would read pass the first couple of sentences....It's a bit too lengthy for trying to drive home a simple point...From that perspective it becomes lame in its own attempt...

I agree with the first part. Most people reading it will most likely be the ones who saw the hateful comment, rather than the hateful ccommenter himself.
Still does its job, though, at teaching those people (whether they need it or not) about respecting other people.
