Do any of you ever struggle with doing the right thing in life?

For me, I want to do the right thing at all times. But I have a hard time being patient enough to allow that to happen.

How do you deal with it?

I have realized what's right and what's wrong doesn't really matter.

I actually do spend quite some time considering what the right choices are. But in the end, you just gotta do what you believe is best for you, your future, and whoever else you care about.

Trust that your decisions are correct, and work towards making them the right decisions! :)

I didn't get the impression from his post that the choices he's talking about are uncertain but rather he sees that it is the right choice prior to choosing but still having a hard time making it...Correct me if I am wrong Taz...

If this is what you are talking about then I am not sure why we sometimes deviate from doing the right thing when its clear...Maybe a part of us truly doesn't care about the situation to make an effort....Sometimes the right choice carries a lot of commitment and work behind it and we don't want to bother....

My grandma use to say to me when I was little "Sweet to the palate but bitter to the tummy" as her personal reference for taking the easy way out and not making a right choice when it's clear...I guess we tend gravitate towards instant gratification or the path of least effort and the challenge is to overcome that in order to progress...Doing the right thing tend to be hard at times...

Since you're struggling, my advice is to make some bad choices (hopefully nothing too damaging) in order to get a real appreciation for doing the right thing...Because it doesn't seem you have much appreciating for the good choices you have made thus far...

Perhaps this would be an issue in the past but never as an adult. Hesitation is not something I like to indulge, whatever decision I make I am happy to own up to it regardless of the consequence.

For me the concept of "Fear is for Prey" is something that's not to be taken as holy text but is something to keep in mind. Just be confident in your life and try to make good decisions in general, you should be fine.
