I've been looking for good TV-Series to watch. I would like you guys to recommend some, any genres as long as it is worth it to watch.

So far I've been following:

Agent Carter
Arrow
Constantine
Game Of Thrones
Gotham
Hannibal
Kingdom
Scorpion
The Big Bang Theory
The Flash
The Walking Dead

and a Lot of Korean melodrama & comedy stuff.

I've got all the time in the world to watch any series right now, so feel free to throw me some suggestions to what to watch and why..

I'm interested in the new show by the breaking bad guys. Better Call Saul.
Other than that I can't really help you much.

If you're interested in trying some anime, here are my top recommendations.
I'll try putting them in order of accessibility to get into...

    1. Uchuu Kyoudai - aka. Space Brothers. Probably the least Japanese of all shows. Mature, realistic show about an older brother trying to follow in his younger brother's footsteps and become an astronaut.

    2. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Pure Condensed Testosterone. You will cry manly tears and possibly grow a mustache and sideburns on your beard. (women, you've been warned :D)

    3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - New series. follows the plot of the original manga. A very high quality mainstream show.

    4. Fullmetal Alchemist - Older series with a diverging original plot. It's superior in my opinion, but it's a lot less mainstream, so most people disagree with me :/

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala - Movie and epic finale to the older series)

    5. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch - aka Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. A lot of people are initially turned off by the art style, but at the end of the day this probably the best show of them all.

    6. Steins;Gate - Superb show about time-traveling with a microwave. Yes, you read that right.

    7. No Game no Life - Easy enough to get into. There's some references here and there so some Japanese knowledge is required to get them all. Very bright and colorful, but quite epic as well.

    8. Baccano!! - Takes some getting used to. Very high main character count. A lot of stuff going on in parallel, but ultimately collides into one big glorious masterpiece.

    9. Durarara!! - Same as Bacanno!!

    10. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou - aka. Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. Hilarious show about dumb highschool boys doing dumb highschool boys shit. Requires a bit more Japanese knowledge to get all the jokes though.

    11. Gintama - Insanely hilarious show about an ex-samurai in a sci-fi setting trying to get enough money for the rent. Frequently bombards you with short touching stories, stomach-ache inducing jokes and amazing action sequences. You need to give it some time to grow on you, but when it does it will never let go. I've found for a lot of people struggle with the first 30 or so episodes, but after that they can't stop anymore. The show has A LOT of references to Japanese popular culture from a pretty wide time-frame to boot. You'll need to feel pretty at home with Japanese stuff to catch all the jokes. New episodes coming this spring :yay:

Gintama: Kanketsu-hen - Yorozuya yo Eien Nare - A High Quality Gintama movie with a good plot. Only requires familiarity with all the major characters, so you don't need to have watched everything till the end. I'd somewhat recommend catching up before watching it though.

    12. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu - aka. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. One of those kind of niche shows. It seemingly has no point, but it covers some very interesting concepts. If I were try to explain it, the best I could tell you was "Imagine a show from the point of view of a cynic that was really good friends with an agent of the Men in Black and knew some of their secrets". Also all the episodes were broadcast out of order, you'll have to refer to wikipedia for the correct viewing order.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu - aka. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Movie continuation of the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Probably one of my all-time favorite movies. Builds insanely well on the characters from the show. Requires you to have seen all the episodes.

In retrospect I recall you visiting the anime/manga thread occasionally, so these might be nothing new. But if anybody else is interested...

edit:
forgot one. woops...

Suits
House of Cards

Also watching The 100 at the moment, but can't say I can recommend it cause the characters just make it so difficult to like the show during the first season.

The two I most recently watched and love are Suits and White Collar. Both got me hooked instantly. Other than that, Arrested Development was... alright untill the final season. Finally Dexter was a great series as well.

Just recently finished 3 seasons of Sherlock, it was indeed good. now time to move on.

@poehalcho I don't think I will be watching any Anime soon since, I've already watch mostly all the ones you recommend and still currently following a lot of em atm.

I'm more kinda in to mainstream TV-Series.

Lost
Sherlock already mentioned.

Recently started watching Shameless (US version). It's comedy and I'm not really into these kind of tv-series, but this one is gold.

I started watching friends back in January, but have been unable to carry on.

Dexter
Supernatural

Not sure if these interest you:

House of Cards
Boardwalk Empire
Vikings
The Newsroom
Suits
Fortitude
Homeland (kinda got bored by the end but it was ok)
Manhattan
Rectify
Sons of Anarchy
The Leftovers (surprisingly good)
True Detective
Tyrant
The Americans (again, kinda good but getting bored of it somewhat)
Breaking Bad
Rome
Dexter
House M.D.
Battlestar Galactica
Spartacus (probably the worst one on the list but the first season is pretty good)

Have fun, you have a lot of catching up to do.

Arrow started fairly ok but it got lame rather quickly if you ask me.

I much prefer the Oliver Queen in Smallville as emo as he was.

No joke, Teen Wolf > Arrow.

I can't believe we finished Eastbound and Down. That's up there for one of the best comedy series I've seen in a while.
