Is it just me or did they drop the ball on the fear mongering for this years infectious disease? Overall I see way more people who are just not falling into the controlled panic.

I feel pretty safe living in my first world country with no plans to make any trips to Africa or anything like that.

Ebola is the least scary thing in the world. Ravies is a billion times worse and is not a "thing".

I'm not scared of it but looking back at swine flu and bird flu it seemed like there was way more panic overall. Are people becoming numb to the fear mongering?

Probably cause people eat birds, beef and pork more than they travel to Africa or go to hospitals.
Also isn't the vaccine research already going steady? Thought I saw a bunch of articles about tests with very high success rates and what not.
