Hello,
So I've been researching in buying a new keyboard but need some feedback.

http://kotaku.com/co-op-the-best-gaming ... 1447953582

conveniently this article popped up today on kataku. I've heard good things about mechanical keyboards but I don't know if its worth the extra 20$.

Does anyone have any alternative keyboards or can vouch for one of these? Max i'm willing tos pend is 100$ I would also like a keyboard with backlight please.

Also for mice I was thinking this
http://www.amazon.com/GHOST-SHARK-Exper ... aula+mouse

But I have never used a mouse with all the extra fins like this one. Any comments on it? Is it hard to get use to?

Thank you

Also, I only do casual gaming. So if you can recommend a comfy keyboard with backlight thats even cheaper I would be up for that!

Well, prices all depend on where you live $,€,£,...

Mechanical keyboards -> Black, Red, Blue, Brown cherry switches
What type of games do u mostly play?
"Casual gaming"; imho doesn't really need mechanical keyboard
Also, mech -> "loud" in comparison to a normal keyboard

I have a Corsair K70 (black with red backlighting); very happy with it; took some time to get used too though
(Red cherry switch)

Also:
Code: Select all

That is one epic video for a new set of keyboards xD They do look nice though

I just heard about how they differ today. And what razor said, if you are a gamer mechanical keyboards are worth it because there is less input lag. The buttons are like binary, as the guy on some stream explained it, you either pressed it, or you didn't. So there is no more half pressing keys. I guess they also have no/high input max like the keyboard I currently use has. (on some areas I can only press 2 buttons at once which rally ruins me during gaming). Downside is ofcourse the price, the ones I saw a while back were 120 euro+ :/ But I am planning on getting on sometime relatively soon I hope.

The main difference with the types razor mentioned is the feedback you get from the keys I believe. Some make a sound, others give a signal you can feel or they do both. Obviously if you live with someone or use it in a general living space the clicky ones will get annoying real fast for other people =p
