Looking for 20 MMORPG-players more for my Dissertation

Hey, everyone!

I posted a while back to ask you, as MMORPG-players, to fill in my survey about MMORPG’s since I’m writing a master dissertation on MMORPG’s. Now, I only need 20 MMORPG-players more to fill in the survey. If you could fill it in I would greatly appreciate it!

The survey will only take 10 minutes of your time and everything you fill in will be processed anonymously and will not be used for commercial purposes.

Here is the link: This survey was closed on the 30th of March at 4PM (GMT+1)

More than 1150 people participated in this survey. So thank you to all who participated!

You can expect the results between the 25-30th of June (because by then I will have finished my oral defense of my master dissertation and my exams)

On the risk of sounding like a total newbie: I don't know what 'bumping' a thread is. If you want me to do that then I will (so this thread can be removed). I have posted on elitepvpers already but I'll try other forums too. Thanks for the advice

Bumping a thread is just posting in a topic you made for it to get attention again but I personally don't have an issue with you making a new one ;d And strange, I thought elitepvpers would of given you more input. Sorry =x

@.curve: the MMO-champion Admins won't respond to the mails I send to them unfortunately (don't know why, I was very polite). And I can't post a link there because I'm a newbie (to protect them from spamming, which is understandable).

A really big thanks to all those who filled out the survey. I'm closing this survey tomorrow (30/03) around 4PM (GMT+1 time). Aw man if I had thought of MMO-Champ earlier I could have posted the link for you. I'm a pretty regular member there for the last 5 years or so.

The only issue with the MMO-Champ population is that there will be those people who skew results just for the sake of messing with someone. Also the population would be a lot more diverse than this forum where everyone's pretty much stuck on the same shitty MMO

And it's that bias that will have an effect when it comes to answering questions about MMOs in general, not just the one that most people here have played/are playing. It'll skew the results due to a lack of really objective answers. Just looking at the Other Games section and any threads regarding another MMO, despite being objectively better than Silkroad, you'll see a pretty blanket disdain for anything not Silkroad.

I don't know if these are variables you've accounted for, or if it even matters, but that's my observation. Who knows, maybe you were just looking for participation and I'm looking way too far into it.

Now I'm way more interested in seeing the results.

Don't worry too much about the results being skewed, I've gotten a lot of participation on reddit.com (in all sorts of MMORPG's like Guild Wars, WOW, Rift, etc...). The total number of participants is about 1150 (or will be after I checked every reaction and eliminated the people who tried to skew it or tried to be funny (e.g.: 95 year old Haitian women that lives in Australia that ticked each box in a Z-motion).
