The last episode was pretty damn good.

Probably because laurels little whiny ass wasn't in it.

And to think I used to love her. =(

Not really my thing since CW11 shows tend to resonate more with teenage girls or people who are Twilight. But I did pick up archery as a little hobby recently since I live 3 blocks away from a range. :P

I've actually been meaning to start doing a little archery.

Bitches would dig it.

I made a bow out of the stick of some sort of a rolling broom. It shoots pretty far, but it's kinda painful to shoot because the stick didn't bend far enough when attaching the string so every time I shoot the string slaps the base of my thumb which is not nice.

You should! It's really fun. I bought my long bow about a year and a half ago, and I'm having a blast!
Something along the lines of this:

Yeah. I'm trying to decide what type of bow I want to get. Like an economically sound one, or a bad ass one.

The latter is currently winning the debate inside my head. But perhaps.I'll be able to compromise, before I spend several thousand dollars for a selfie.

Just don't go out and buy one of those ugly hunting bows. They're not even real bows, more like a bunch of highly calibrated metal pieces put together. No son, the only way to go is the long bow way :sohappy:

Make a bow out of a leaf spring.

I was debating between a Compound bow and a more traditional Recurve bow. A compound bow is much easier to learn but IMO, it's better to start with a good foundation by getting used to shooting with a recurve. It's advisable to start focusing more on proper stance/body position and consistency rather than the bow sight. I don't think you even need a sight for a 10-yard shot anyway. Don't be surprised if you find your arrows flying way off the target during your first run -- I hardly think anyone can shoot like a real marksman from the get-go.

Recurves look a lot cooler and don't give you any assistance like compounds. :)

This + you look way more awesome with a Recurve bow :sohappy:

I liked the first season of this but after catching up to season 2 I lost interest in the show.

I've actually enjoyed the second season more than the first.

And also, Felicity Smoke. Oh my god.
