What kind of data plan do you guys have for your phone? How much do you actually use?

I've been using a 2gb data plan for pretty much forever. Never had a problem with it in the past. Usually used 1-1.5gb a month.

But these past two months? My data usage has exploded. In the past week alone, I've used 1.2gb. So, looks like I need to upgrade to a 4gb plan. Or get rid of my phone. Either/or.

I used to have 3gb, only used half of it max and thats if I tried. Now on a family shared data plan which is a little cheaper. Before, it was ethier 100mb - 3gb and ?gb plan for one phone, so it made no sense getting the 100mb because the 3gb was only a little more.

I pay 30 bucks for unlimited everything but phone calls, I get about an hour free for that and from there I need to pay a bit, not sure how much since I never had to.

Joining verizon was the worst thing I ever did.

I use less than a gig most of the time but if sometimes I go to ancient places where 2.4ghz wifi has not tread so I use a bit more.

Unlimited long distance err thang teh whoooole deal plus 6GB per month and I pay 80$..

Had to add 30 local minutes to get to the $45 minimum. Still rocking a 3 year old retail employee deal from when I worked at Walmart(Telus offers cheaper/better contracts to employees of companies that sell their devices). Upgraded from a Blackberry to a mid-range Android phone and didn't have to switch the plan.

8G, unlimited texts and 600 minutes for £25, but my bill is normally around £50, because I pay for my phone also, I don't have a 24 month contract on my phone, I can change my phone anytime I like. Also I'm with O2

How on earth are you filling up on a 2gb plan?

I have 500mb and I barely get over the 2-300mb. I'm always on wifi pretty much so yeah..

Work 10-12 hour days. No wi-fi. Driving between jobs for about 4 hours of that. What to do? Facebook/YT.

If I'm on the road that much I'd rather get a (small) laptop and put 500gb of series on it to watch. Also I can't use youtube very well since my internet sucks (got 3.8mbps on 3G I believe?). Either that or 14.2mbps and paying twice as much so f that.

Besides that I either play a little game, read the news, browse a big of 9gag or just listen to music on my phone. If I had a good connection I'd probably watch twitch 24/7 but since that's not possible I dont use alot of data x)

iphone 5s, 6GB data/month... I rarely use that much though... maybe I will burn about 4GB/month

My plan includes 2GB of data, 4 hours on phone, and unlimited sms/mms. Works great for me. It costs only about $18 and I use about 1.5GB per month.

I use about half my 8G, but I don't have internet at home, at the moment. But using my phone does me.

How the hell do you guys use that much? A lot of people say they just use public wifi whenever possible, but I always use my LTE even when there's public wifi available just because it's more reliable and faster. Just regular usage, I use about 2GB~ a month, I hit close to 3 when I tether to comp (only when I disconnect, but that hasn't happened in forever).

I don't use my phone's data usage(it's also pretty slow) very often nor calling. When I do want to call half the time I don't have signal, but whenever someone else calls me it's always fine. ****.

I have an unlimited data plan but I never use much data. I've probably use 1GB or less so far this year.

Before I upgraded to iPhone 5s I was fine with a 2 GB data plan and 3G

With 4G LTE I use nearly all 6 GB and I'm looking to see if I can raise it.
