Copyright and the Internet have been struggling to get along for many years and some feel we are now due a comprehensive update of the former in order for it to work more harmoniously with the latter. In deciding how to progress the EU Commission has opened a public consultation which allows all citizens – even those in the U.S. – a rare opportunity to change the path of copyright law. But with just three weeks left, time is ticking away.

rest at: http://torrentfreak.com/eu-offers-publi ... aw-140113/

The questionnaire: http://ec.europa.eu/internal_market/con ... dex_en.htm

So we all know current copyright laws are uber bs...
Personally I might take a look at the form and fill it in. Anyone else interested?

That's pretty interesting. Probably not going to participate since I don't know much about it but the recent stuff at YT does make me feel that shit should get changed.

Seems worth taking a look into. Honestly I don't know if I'm knowledgable enough either, but it's just a Word doc you can fill in and mail :P. If it's accessible to the regular folk it might be worth the time. Better than letting all the media companies walk over us...
