Update On Nephew

So, the nephew I posted about recently was going to be adopted by my oldest brother and his wife, because they're unable to have children.
They were picked by the birth mother on tuesday, baby was born on Wednesday, they were under the impression that the birth mother had 3 days to decide if she wanted to keep the child or not.
So, flash forward to today, Sunday (4 days after the baby was born), the birth mother came and took the child back. Turns out she had 10 days to change her mind. But because there were illegal drugs in her system when she gave birth, the child was taken away and put into foster care.

That was my first thought. And while I don't have all the details, my mom said it didn't seem possible. Not sure why.
