Yeah, I give myself and my family shit about driving all the time, given how many annual deaths are related to it. We just can't seem to listen though.
My point is that if we're not doing something just because there's an element of danger involved, then why not just go all out and live in a bubble suit or something.

Have you ever been so jaded that nothing truly moves you...nothing really triggers an authentic reaction out of you.....life is mundane...boring.....For these people it's probably like that for them most of the time.....
It takes life threatening experiences to make life worthwhile or meaningful (not all of them but some)...They can't settle for the simple joys of life anymore.....They can't appreciate that a worthwhile life can be found in the simple things.....Hence dead on the inside...
