I think there will soon be a generation of people who all hate Christmas because of how long the season lasts. I liked it way better when the build up started like 2 weeks before Xmas not 3 months

^I dunno, I still kinda like the period. I like having lights on my window when going to sleep so it's not pitch black and the lit up tree in the corner at night. Also, being able to consume larger amounts of candy than usual is nice.

What is there not to love about Christmas?
- More Candy
- More coziness
- More time indoors drinking hot chocolate and/or gaming / watchin TV
- Way more movies in the TV!
Yes, it is commercialized, but you are free to turn off the PC/TV / where ever you're being exposed to said commercialization any time

Christmas was about celebrating the birth of someone I have no interest in, or believe ever existed, it's now about spending £100s, that I also have no interest in spending. I can eat, be lazy, watch films any day of the year, I can spend time with my family, when I want. Why do I have to do it, on a certain day of the year, just because society tells me to do so, because I've been told to celebrate a religious holiday, a religion I have no interest in believing.
