Hi!
How would having nice looking ladies around you affect your working performance, would that motivate you to do better, distract you from your work or you just ignore the gender when it comes to co-workers?
or you prefer a manly working environment or even working all by yourself?
(if you're a student/unemployed, just imagine)

I think it depends mostly on the men-to-women ratio and on whether or not you actually feel attracted to those around you.
I don't care too much for gender in normal situations, but if more than half of my collegues would female I can imagine myself getting either angry or distracted... Women often seem to be less logical so that doesn't make me very happy as an engineering student... Then, again I can't say I'm happy with the lack of females in my faculty either q.q
If they're sensible, I don't mind I guess.

Depends on the type of job and the co-workers' personalities. But mostly I would like to have them around.

I don't see how it would effect my performance, unless I was a porn star.

It is good eye candy from time to time.
Personally, I've worked with many female coworkers at my current job, and as long as they can perform what they need to do at a comparable level to the men working there, I have no problem. My job requires a lot of physical work and as long as they can accomplish tasks with minimal help needed I'm ok with that.
Personalities matter just as much as they would with a male. If they're a douche/bitchy, no ones going to like them regardless of gender. If they have a cool attitude and you can all get along, no issues.

On some small level (depending on the man) primordial instinct will kick in, in response to an attractive female in the workplace and can cause some men to act differently which might affect their work performance in one direction or the other....
But I don't think it will last too long as every man will eventually come back to his senses and work will carry on as usual....No point in trying to impress a woman you can't get (if it's apparent) especially at the expense of your job if you've started to become distracted......
Frankly I don't subscribe to the idea of trying to impress a woman so she may like me...seems sort of sub-human and outdated to me....like a street monkey trying to impress a crowd of onlookers......So for me when a pretty face shows up in the workplace, I just keep my cool...

Most of my co-workers are girls, none of which im attracted to.
So it doesnt affect my performance in any way, as long as they do what they are supposed to do.
But if they were to be attractive to me, maybe it would have very little effect, but not much tbh, cause when im at work, i work...

Gender doesn't mean anything to me. Ain't got time fo' that shit.
The building I'm working in has about 2,000 guys working per shift and ~100 women.
I will say though, it's kind of pathetic watching ~50 married men stop working to drool over every woman that walks by and talk about what they'd do to her.

It doesn't affect me, really.
The most important thing for me is just having "nice" people around. Meaning: no arrogant people, no too stupid people and no smart-asses. Having such people around can frustrate me at times.
But no, the gender doesn't matter.

I've always hooked up with girls from work

Girls at work aren't any more of a distraction to me than girls in your classroom.

As long as you can perform what you need to do... It shouldn't be any problems.
