I admit dog may have been dangerous but deadly force was unnecessary

I'm seriously getting sick of police officers, even if the minority of them cause the problem

I would most certainly punch you in the face if you were filming me in the same annoying way this guy was doing it. And I would shoot your dog too.

heroo wrote:A. I fcking hate those f4ggots who are recording everything the police is doing. I see them here in Holland as well and I always have to resist the urge to punch them right in their fcking face. It is annoying as fck when someone is standing in front of you with a camera and is recording everything you do when there is no reason at all to record it. He was annoying the police officers on purpose and wanted to look cool in front of the people standing there. He made this happen, he shouldn't have acted like a 15-year old douchebag. Now don't get me wrong, I am thankful to God we don't have those messed up ''police officers'' you have in the U.S. over here, but this douchebag was asking for it. Next time, remember not to annoy people when they are doing their job. If he wanted to film them, he should have standed where that other annoying f4ggot was standing who recorded this film.
B. It's a fcking dog, get over it.

Actually, It's a big deal.Sanktum wrote:Though a dog isn't as big a deal

MrTwilliger wrote:I dont see what the issue here was. The dog was attacking, they initially hesitated to shoot the dog, but once the dog lunged at the police officer for the second time and put his safety at risk he simply defended himself with the tools he had. Sure, the dog was just "protecting his owner" but a police officer can't let themselves be severely hurt just the save the life of the dog. At what point is it acceptable to defend yourself? Once it's already got one of the officers by the arm and has already caused damage? Do you expect him to simply let it bite him? If you kick the dog it will just make it more enraged, a gun is a simply way to ensure it wont hurt the officer. It's sad, don't get me wrong (I had to turn away as soon as I saw them shooting and I closed the video afterwards, its not something I wanted to see) but in my eyes I don't see anything inherently wrong with their decision.
I know how loyal a dog can be and I know what they will do to protect their owners (my 50kg german Shepard/Rottwheiler showed me first hand when it attacked our neighbour). If he didn't defend himself there was an incredibly high risk that the police officer would of been severely hurt.

The dog Just wants to get to it's owner.. and whynot. eh?Ganja wrote:I don't understand what you people expect the officer to do. Is he supposed to just let the dog attack him?

The dog isn't doing anything threatening... the cop approaches him and then
he goes into trigger happy Farking mode.
Fury wrote:Shit step back guys, tough guy alert. Anyone who thinks shooting the dog was necessary is clearly fcked in the head. So many police officers around and the dog didn't even pose a serious threat and yet it was shot without hesitation. Dont give me that bullshit about them being in harm...what the fck can 1 dog do against 5 humans?
Love wrote:I think they couldve uncuffed the owner and have him restrain the dog .... Thats easy for me to say sitting here but formulating such a response on the spot and is not necessarily obvious, one of those things you gain with experience.
You all also need to stfu, endangering a human being for an animal wired to protect is dumb....

Well, I don't entirely agree. The officers threatened the dog.MrTwilliger wrote:But at 3:21 the dog lunges at the police officer and that is when he shoots. The dog showed its intentions to attack and while it was only "defending it's owner", the police officers were simply defending themselves.

But we should. Ain't nothing wrong with that.Sanktum wrote:I don't think there should be so much freaking out over a dog
