I have an interview (or 2) at BestBuy on Tuesday, really not sure if I would pass it >.<

Last time was last last Wednesday, so by the drug test it will be 2 weeks.

If you burn more than 3 times a week you probably don't have enough time. Drink an unnatural amount of water and lose as much fat as possible in two weeks.

Really it depends on how much and often you smoked before you stopped.

Flush your system out all you can and you should be fine...Unless you smoked daily, at which point it can linger in your system for months.

...Or you could have a clean friend piss in a bag for you and keep it in your ass crack.

As far as I know, in the US any job can make you submit to a drug test for the interview.

I had to agree to the drug test, and looking around the web it looks like they do require drug tests.

The discounts though -_-. Apparently the discount was even better, product cost + 10% mark up, but they changed the policy to 50% off, its still a ridiculously good deal.

BTW if they found alcohol can they do anything about it? (I'm 17)

I don't get what's strange about drug testing at a major retail store. You're working with the public. I don't agree with the prohibition of these drugs, but since it's the law, and the liability aspect, I can't see why they wouldn't test.

If you don't get the job cause you fail the drug test, maybe you should rethink your priorities in life. Eh? I've got way too much to lose to mess around with that shit, but I know a lot of ppl that gave up a lot to smoke weed. One guy gave up custody of his kids cause he refused court ordered drug tests. (Personally I thing cigarettes are worse than weed, but this is the world we live in..)

@Fiction; why always so defensive of corps brah. I don't mind taking drug test, I doubt I have to reset my priorities for something I only do to relax (tree) and as a summer job (BestBuy). I understand they probably have higher standards for employees considering the pay and benefits, which is the only reason I'm bothering with it.

If people are taking away custody for someone's kids for smoking weed, thats a problem with the law not the person..~,o

Meh fuark that its a job at best buy, not a career job. I work in a big retail store and my bosses regularly go have a few beers for lunch rofl. No bigy here. Overkill imo..

This. I don't usually hear of drug tests for "non-career" jobs. If a lot of retail stores did this, a lot of people would be unemployed. I work at a grocery store and if we ever had a drug test, 1/4 of the store and maybe even some managers would be left without a job lol...

Walmart requires drug testing too. Good thing IMO.

The way my friends do it is take a test tube full of "clean" piss. Strap it to your leg (don't tourniquet that damn thing on) so it's hidden and will keep the urine warm. Some prefer a tube for it so you don't have to detach it, but most usually do and pour it into the sample cup. Good luck, obviously ask question if you need too.

Do you have a criminal record? Do you have any record saying that you have used or taken drugs before?

I really dont understand asking for a drugs test! Its almost unheard of in the uk, they have the right to ask for your criminal record if you have one but asking for a drugs test would mean either they think you look like a druggie or "we have a guilty until proven innocent policy".

I think that you could take drugs as long as it didnt effect you ability to work and unless you had a record, the company wouldnt know or really have the right to ask!

Everything that's not trashing the corporation is defending them? Drug testing is a way to cover their ass. Have not worked a job in my adult life that didn't require one before hire or allowed randomly.

Probably excludes game systems ( ) but video games, TVs, cameras, look like they are included . 1 month to be qualified for it, and i'll be working after school starts anyways.

If they do random on the spot drug tests that'd just be ridiculous ~,o. I used to work everyday at McDonalds while toking everyday, it didn't affect my focus for shit. esp. for a cashier job at retail.

If it's just a summer job then you won't be able to use that discount for the PS4 anyways.
