Did skateboarding yeeeaarrsssss ago and it did cross my mind to get a longboard several times but kept scrapping the idea. My roller blades almost never see the light of day so I figured the same would happen to my board if I bought one. That and I need the $$ to buy a car this summer.. that shit's gonna sting.

Had a kid in my class last semester that would come to school in a suit with a longboard lol.
Skateboarding has always seemed fun to me if it's purely for cruising around, but unfortunately in the Netherlands there is no such things as an empty road (nor downhill for that matter). I have a skateboard hidden away somewhere, but I've ultimately found more use for it as a makeshift pillow than a cruising device :/

We longboard around town just to get places. Usually we're high and it's nice out and it's just a lot more fun than driving a car if it's within certain distances.
Plus plenty of decent hills to bomb

Exactly this.
I'm just waiting for the god damn city to remove all the little rocks (The city spreads little rocks on the sides of residential streets to prevent cars from sliding and such during the winter).

Yeah death pebbles are brutal, especially when bombing a hill. Insta road rash.

So naturally all longboarders are hipsters? Thats funny, Im quite the opposite of a hipster and longboard quite frequently. Please reply with a valid argument.

Unfortunately, longboarding DID become a "hip" hobby. However, that doesn't mean every longboarder is a hipster, especially nowadays. What's funny though, is that longboarding is so mainstream now, that it can't be called a "hipster" hobby anymore. For instance, I've been longboarding for like 8 years now. I was longboarding way before it became mainstream, and way before it became "hip", does that make me a triple level hipster? Hipception.
Gaige, you're so 2011.

You guys ever go off roading?
Not mine. I have always thought that the off roading boards look awesome though. This one kind of looks goofy though.
