Hi,
I would like to do some test on the FTP server I setup. It would be great if some of you guys who have acces to a fast internet connection (fiber) could do some downloading. I shared two episodes of BBC's Life.

If you could post your download speed here it would be great.
EDIT: A friend of mine downloaded the file from a professional hosted server:
137 megabyte per second aint too bad for uploadng. Can anyone try it on a home fiber connection?

Thanks that does count. How is this dl speed compared to your normal download speed? Quicker or slower?

Origin and Steam downloads go around 11 Mb/s so 6 isn't bad but it's not the best either

Thanks for testing. This is exactly what I was wondering. The server is located in the Netherlands. Long distance does make it slow it appears. Anyone thats closer to the server that can run a test?

60 MBit/s connection. 7 MB/s download speed from your server.
This is easily faster than my usual downloads.
I can download from steam @ upto 7,5 MB/s.

Eur, thats kinda odd. Almost everyone I hear is downloading at his/her full dl speed. We even reached speeds up to 137 megabyte (not megabit) per second. Where do you live? Tibet?
