I dare N.Korea to try and pull some shit. Watch how quickly their existence on the planet ends.

Probably not. This could trigger much more conflicts.

I do feel sorry for the North Korean citizens that do not want to be involved in any of the drama that their country brings forth.
I hope that they won't continue provoking, it seems like someone will have to give in at one point, especially if they do actually 'Try' to commence an attack. Most sources say North Korea would be unable to accurately target the U.S. mainland overall, but them attacking South Korea would be just as bad.

Yeah, but still, it's a war, lives would be lost and everything. It would be bad, even if it would only last 1 day.

Wars happen, trust me I want to avoid this conflict. If this pops off and turns into ww3 I'd expect the U.S. to reinstate the draft and I really don't want to go on the run from the government.

I don't think the US should feel threatened, they can shoot down the missiles armageddon style if needed. But due to Seoul(South Koreas Capital city) being so close to North Korea, the bomb will hit before someone even gets to react. And remember seoul is a city of 25mil people with tons of tech companies with their headquarters there. That's a crisis if you ask me.

I don't understand the mindset of them over at north korea. I mean do they think they can actually nuke and destroy the US? Do they have no comprehension of actions have consequences?

For fuck sakes, it's a whole fucking new century. They should learn from the past WW. Where is this greedy coming from of being the most powerful? From that stupid kid... bad predecessor is so freaking bad.

I agree, but what can they do? The people's lives are constantly controlled by fear, If they do not say something that is against the "insane idiot"... they will Just be sent to a prison.
Anyway.. what's the reason behind this?

I hope you're joking, because it's the other way around Einstein. Also don't rely too much on those ''allies'' when a world war breaks out. Anyways, North Korea won't do shit. They are a puppet of China and it's not in China's interest to start a war. China is already taking over this world, they don't need a world war for that.

they dont need "your" money if they take over america. it doesnt sound likely but america arent exactly the worlds favorite country.
N.K attacks US and US dont retaliate, but S.K do and start to attack N.K then... N.K turns on S.K which is more worrying because experts dont think N.K is advanced enough for a LONG range nuke but a shorter distance nuke is possible, America see this as a threat to S.K and decide to retaliate to that... China say "Stay out of N.K and S.K's business you are not world police" but US still defend S.K because the US realize that S.K is a good tactical partner in the Asia area (they dont have many allies that they could count on in that region if push came to shove)
China declare war on US at which point russia is up for a good going at the US too after the tension thats always existed. Japan feel revenge is necessary for Hiroshima/nagasaki and 90% of the middle east want to see america eradicated.
america suddenly arent the favorites when over half the worlds population decide america were just being too big for there boots.
sure this scenario isnt likely but possible and feasible. When you look at the people in control of the big guns right now, a lot of them are inexperienced to understand consequence.

Who knows? They could flip over and want to take everything what's left from the world by starting a war. Backstaaaaaabbb.

I'd hope ppl have learned by now the United States does not need China and China does not need the United States. Our owns ppl own more dept than China does, and China will have it's own problems once they see their little pseudo GDP crumble. I'm sure China wouldn't mind having NK start a war while they pretend they never wanted it.

People are grosly underestimating north koreea, Wich is a bad thing to do in a war situation. North korea's army might be outdated but its low tech and highly trained. When was it last year ? or 2 years ago the artillery skirmish between south and north. North pretty much hit all its targets. while the south missed most of there's considering north is using 30-40 year old artillery compaired to the new K-9 Howitzers of the south korean army. And lets not forget the fact that the north Korean army is brainwashed beyond belief. Possibly as heavy as Japanese during WW2.
Terain also has allot to do with it, A country like iraq is largly flat and was whiped out within no time. A country like Serbia withstood bombing longer then anybody expected and still managed to keep its military rolling Because serbia like north korea is hilly and has allot of foilage
There is no doubt in my mind that the US and south Korea would win this conflict but it might take longer and take a heavier toll then people want to admit.

i think it could get a little more complex then that... we all saw what happened in the iraq war which was supposed to last a couple of months but actually lasted 10 years. This could be the beginning of a new asian dispute if china want it to.

If america stopped with the demonizing of other nations on the global stage who don't comply with what they prefer to see then shit like this wouldn't be happening..... You can't do what you want like having your own weapons to defend yourself outside of their regulations without them trying to make you look like you're a tyrant..a rouge nation...a fundamentalist...a separatist etc....Then again...north korea is acting like a little brat...at least from what the media is feeding us...

On one hand I agree... America needs to mind it's own damn business... On the other hand... NK and several other countries the US has "demonized" don't really have the best human rights records. Either way, it's not our business to go poking our nose in other countries affairs, but sadly thanks to many presidents -Bush and Obama as two of the worst presidents- we've become the world police. Nonstop wars and enforcing our will on other countries, while we neglect our own problems... It's just plain stupid, can't have your cake and eat it too.
