I guess you'd dim the lights when using it mostly. And keep them on once in a while // when you're showing it off to friends.

I don't understand this obsession with 3 monitors. Why not just one large one?

a Huge monitor would be a lot higher than you'd want on a desk. Further more you can play a game on the center monitor alone if you'd like. I'd mainly prefer 2-3 screens over one big one because i'd hate playing games on a 60" tv honestly (not like my graphics card could ever handle such a thing anyway, but yeah).

Plus having separate monitors gives you more compatibility as many games don't support super widescreen monitors. Otherwise it's kinda annoying to have those frames in between monitors when playing on all screens.
