I feel the same. It's just that I now have the power to actually do something when I see spam threads and what not.

I was a moderator for Zelos for a while, I would say I felt indifferent about it. You just have the extra duty of removing spam, closing unnecessary threads, answering questions, and once in a while taking care of a problematic user.
Zelos had a great community so it was a pleasant experience.
Now being a mod for EPVP on the other hand would probably make me want to jump off a bridge.

I was admin of a small Secular/Religion discussion forum back in like 2005~06. It had about 400 people and a lot of them were quite active. I fucking hated it and from then on, I never wanted to play admin/mod ever again, ever.

I remember always wanting to mod a forum I'm active in, and as soon as I become one, I bail as fast as I can. it makes it a responisibility, and as by default I want to avoid it.
