Women vs. Men logic.

So, as spending most of my time with my gf it's obvious we talk a lot (tho I realized the less I say, the less she misunderstands things :) ).
Anywayz, I'd like to hear some illogical/senseless reasoning that your bf/gf/friend/mom/whoever came up with.

Let me start:
So today, before my gf left to school she was smoking and (since she always says she doesn't want to smoke, yet always buys just one more pack) I said "We should quit smoking". Not because it's expensive or anything like that but she has heart disease, so yea smoking just isn't the thing that will help. As I'm smoking too, I told her if she quits, I quit too. Fair enough, I guess. Anyhow, she came up with the classic "don't tell me what to do line."
"Don't tell me what to do. Ever." - That's what she said :D
And I don't, just want her to be healthy.
So, later she called me with the question "what should I do?" (It was about -well i don't know how u americanos call it but here, in Hungary, it's called sthg like "examination of maturity", "matura" or simply just final exam (GCE in the UK), you know, the school leaving exam u gotta take after finishing high school/secondary school - so whether she would go for A level English exam or not.)
And I was like "I don't know, if you think your english is good enough, go for A level, else don't."
Then she said "I don't know. You tell me, you never tell me what to do."
Then big red button, didn't even have a chance to reply :D

So, this was one of them, we never fight btw, and she actually apologizes and admits she shouldn't have said/done this or that :)

Another one is short, we were just lying in bed next to each other, talking/smoking and then she grabs my... She said "You don't have a boner?! Do you love someone else?"
I was like, girl, we're just lying next to each other, what the hell.

i think he is talking about A levels actually because i think in hungary they stay at school until 18? We can get a job at 16... but we are bringing in a new education system right now anyway (because the exam boards over here just granted another shit load of students free qualifications after they "misprinted" some papers...
in a music exam there was shit like "what instrument can you hear at 1.43 playing the melody" and the answers were like...
"a) 64 b)186 c)60 d) 94

my cousin brags he got lots of A's when really he was given a shit load of compensation points for errors that should have never ever made it into an exam... he even got a qualification for history and he never even took history! /facepalm

I hear what you're saying Sacrosactus....Men and Women have their own version of retarded and illogical moments... especially when we're not in a good mood....Years ago my mom was extremely angry with me because I did something wrong that I thought was funny...I can't remember what I did.....But she was so furious with me that she called me a "Son of a bitch!"... I was trying very hard not to laugh as we both realized her error... I burst out laughing anyways and so did she afterwards...

The first thing with the smoking is kinda common, girls and guys can be hypocritical like that. The second thing with you not always having a boner around your gf is crazy town. Seriously i wouldn't put up with shit like that.

He said GCE so I corrected him!
You wrote a whole essay on grade being given for mistakes that were made and then a whole new story of your cousin that got A's handed to him!

Edit: I should also say religion as well, but probably a whole new story ;)

But everyone's mind, way of thinking is different, doesn't matter what sex you are, also my way of thinking is different, through age, and country!

That's why I said "boyfriend" too. I've been suspecting all along. All the "fack you"-s were a wish, I get it now. Sorry for realizing it too late. We might have gotten together, really

You finally realised this, but I think I've lost you forever. Goodbye. I wish you all the best of luck in your life.

I'd be jealous, if this wasn't so beautiful.

LOL! @ the "do you love someone else"
When my girlfriend does that she, instead, says "I don't turn you anymore? :("

Ah, well. I don't know what to say. If she said something like that after you tell her about quitting smoking, she is getting seriously into it. You better stop her soon :/

it reminds me of feminists saying they want equal rights to men but when you tell them their car insurance has to go up by like 3x they dont like it so much XD
or that men should have paternity leave if women have maternity leave.

Alot of small problems (about being unable to understand each other :o) which most likely accumilated,
On the bright side i had to quit games, go to gym and start playing some sports so its not a complete loss :D.

Men can get paternity leave in North America.

This. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there are x amount of time shared between both parents; so if both parents decide to go on leave at the same time, the time allotted is cut in half. Another option is if the mother takes the first half and the father takes the other half.

Basically you are saying woman should either go straight back to work after giving birth or work straight up till there term time. Men actually get perternity time in the UK, I can't remember how much, but they get it when their baby is born.

by law they dont have to get paternity leave. but it should be imo
another example is tennis, women and men gets the same prize if they win the competitions..... but men play more then women do in the tournament so is it fair that they get payed more then men in terms of play time?
