Slow Music Library
I have 1493 tracks in my Windows 7 Music Library and it's loading slow as hell. First time it takes about a minute, second time it's 10 seconds and it doesn't get much faster than that. But when I restart my PC it loads for ages again. Is there a way to eliminate this problem? I'd like to have fast access to the tracks from the start menu, but now I just have to go to my user folder and then My Music which is a folder not a library, and thus loads fast. Library also has those 'Arrange By' things that are good. What can I do to keep everything from loading all over again each time?

It's most likely because you aren't sorting them by name.
mine does that... perhaps some indexing can fix the problem if you insist on not ordering them by name?
anyway, just move your music to your library folder, or link the music folders as library folder and your fast access probably will be fixed, no?

Ah, the problem was in right click > 'Sort By' instead. It was set to '#' for some reason. Changing it to 'Name' fixed it. Thanks brah.
