Im sure a few people here know about proxies to get into other silkroad versions so i have a few questions as i wish to do something similar.

my girlfriend used to love pandora when she lived in the US but cannot access it here. She can use the website player because there is a google app for everything now a days. She has a smart music system which allows her to play things from her pc via a program that came with the music system.

the system detects that she is in the uk and does not allow her to listen to pandora and she wants to know if its possible to set up a proxy for that application to appear as if she is back at her home in san fran.

is there any proxy programs or services people know of that can proxy only one application? If not does anyone know a good proxy method otherwise?

Hmm, don't use proxies that often (only for registering for some games, lol)

Anyway:
Hotspot shield is decent but not sure how to set a specific ip.
Tor browser if you want to change your ip for a browser but not the whole pc.

tor will change the browser to another ip.. so you mean you can watch hulu from anywhere in the world with it?

hotspot shield may be something to look into, its only to help my gf... i know its hard to study when you cant listen to what youre used to, even if it is a radio station.

just wondering, can you not do a similar thing with a vpn?

quick edit:
by a vpn i mean a set up like this....

ALL COMPUTERS RUN THROUGH THE SAME VPN ------> linked to router ----> link to ISP

or maybe set a vpn after the router and before the isp...
i think ISP's can still detect what websites and things you are looking at though but that isnt what i want to fool XD

another edit: hotspot shield hides your identity in replace of a us IP
It allows you to unblock sites at work and browse the internet anonymously on an IP address belonging to a Hotspot Shield server in the U.S.

You need to have a router that's Tomato enabled or w.e it's called. I've only briefly read about it, but yeah, if you want your router to run off a VPN so that every computer connected to that router is on a VPN, you need to have one that's capable.

I use ProxyFirewall. Use in combination with Tor (not browser) in case you don't know any proxy service.
