It was an all-out war between the two rivals. Pac has not been this aggressive for a long time and Marquez was returning every blow with some heavy counter-punches. On the third round, Manny goes down then Marquez on the fifth. Both fighters were badly hurt and going at each other in full force. It seems that the scorecards still belonged to Pacquaio having landed more clean punches than JJ Marquez but on the last second of the 6th round, Marquez threw a perfect right hand counter-punch that landed a devastating solid blow that resulted in one hell of a knock-out.

Sad to see Pac lose but it was, nonetheless, a great match.

Fell asleep at 10, but it was devastating to see this morning..

it was a great match indeed, Pacman was in the driver's seat, cuz Marquez absorb quite a lot of dmg, but all it took for Pac to lose was just 1 mistake......

It was really a devastating end, but he accepts it like a true champion..

P.S. Marquez still used that dirty play stepping on Pac's foot on quite a lot times including the time when he delivered the KO punch,....

I couldn't believe that he went down with 02 seconds left in the 6th but I felt happy for JMM because I have seen they're previous fights and it did seem that the judges had scored the last two fights in Pacquiaos favor. I always wonder what would have happened if JMM had won those fights instead of Pacquiao. Either way it was pretty heart wrenching to see Mannys wife crying bloody murder after seeing his motionless body as she rushed to the ring. Hopefully she will convince him to retire so everyone can stop talking about that Mayweather fight which isn't gonna happen.

Marquez made sure that we would never find out.

They were both aiming for a knock-out so there wouldn't be any question on who the true victor is. That's the reason why it was such a great match.
