you guys, stop being gay. so what if sometimes a spamthread hasn't been deleted? as if you guys are somehow affected by it. the forum isn't as active as it used to be, so no need to have more mods imo. still disagree with tasdik's permanent ban, shouldn't have been permanent. but to bitch about spam bots is just an excuse to bitch.

Mods have lives. Mods work. Mods sleep. Mods live in time zones different to you. Mods don't spend 24/7 on SRF, constantly refreshing in order to delete the spam bots. They have other commitments and deleting a thread or two on a 6 year old gaming forums that is incredibly inactive isn't their #1 priority. Stop all your goddam whining and show some respect. These people go out of their way to make SRF a better place and yet everyone just complains because their volunteer services aren't good enough. Seriously guys?

Btw, spambots can be blocked from registering. But I don't know how well it's going to work on an international forum.

True but they do acknowledge the problem, hence the recent thread about recruiting more mods.

This guy... this guy gets it.
Yall have to understand that all of us have full time jobs/school and the spam threads are pretty much a daily thing, that and there is 3 of us in different time zones, as Dom is MIA atm. Not only that but sometimes we don't get to come here every day. This is of course part of the reason why we are getting new mods and is something we have been talking about way before Tasdik had any grumblings about it.

its surprising to even see people still around on this forum after the game died at like the 90 cap. its even more amazing to see that some of the mods have stuck around for even longer just to help moderate this place.
