The older I get the more I realize how the holidays are just like any other day despite all the hype behind them.... All that shopping just bores me and to some extent disgust me when I see mass consumerism being displayed at the malls...I guess I would rather travel when the holidays come around...

This tear I will get 2 weeks holidays to spend with my family. I haven't had a proper spell of holidays in over 2 years as I've been working through every break, so it will be nice to be able to relax. I'm looking forward to having my car just about paid off and in the new year moving into my new University campus (late January). Presents and all that jazz are irrelevant, I'm making some gifts for the ones I care for but don't want or expect anything in return. Most of all, I'm looking forward to the boxing day cricket test match!

It's already November and I'm surprised at how little Christmas related shit I've faced. If it keeps like this, it may actually turn out to be a very nice Christmas . The only reason it becomes annoying is because of the over-saturation of x-mas related things anyway.

I'm looking forward to just gathering with family, eating awesome food. I'm not looking forward to the gifts since I think it's stupid what kids wants today.
When I was young, I took the toystore ads they sent home, took a pen, made a circle around the things I wanted and gave it to my parents.
Today my 10 year old cousing wrote on her blog...yeah a blog 10 years old...That her top 3 is 1. The latest Ipad, since hers is the oldest one 2. Iphone 5, her iphone 4 has lost its touch and 3. A systematic camera...
