Of movies/books, what are yours? Do they defer from one another or do you enjoy the same styles for both?
I, personally, enjoy historical fiction. In both books, and movies. Yay for consistency!

I enjoy anything that has a good story, enough action and some emotion to it.

Horror anything. From cheesy horror movies to enthralling, horrific books, I love it all.
In movies, the more gore the better.

What the f---.
I never watch horror movies. I don't get why people pay money to be scared. I'd much rather watch a comedy or action movie instead.

It's not that I'm scared of horror movies (although I'm sure there's some really realistic one that would give me chills), it's just "bleh" to me.
Guess the concept never made sense in my head.

I like the ancient ages and politics. Rome is one of my favorites.

Nothing like some good old CGI packed action film.
Documentaries are also nice.

+1
I don't really care for them....to me they're a predictable joke....Only the ones that have a good grasp on contextual plausability and also have good acting...those ones I'm willing to watch...

Science Fiction and Fantasy for books. Movies, I can watch just about anything, Drama, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Horror, Action, Comedy, and I'll usually enjoy it, even if overall it's considered a bad movie.

for movies, total slapstick comedy, stupid shit happening.

Never cared for her even as a redhead. Something about that face bugs me.

In regards to both books and movies I like a film that is incredibly pretentious, riddled with contextual meaning and that will make me spend the rest of the day de-constructing it and achieving some zen realisation from it. With that said my favourite movie of all time is Horton Hears a Who, so take that with a grain of salt.
