I have a friend that lives in bridgeport connecticut, both internet and phone lines are down >,<

The weather itself isn't really that bad. The only shitty part about this storm is the fact that city officials went nuts and decided to fucking suspend all subway and bus services. Now I can't come to my job without paying price-gouging car services and I'm in danger of being fucking mandated to stay at work if no one else comes tonight. They did say they "might" be able to pick and drop me up at my home and drop me off later today but that's not a sure thing.

No classes for next 2 days .
College parties for 4 day weekend basically

No school for Monday/Tuesday. Cant go anywhere anyways cause of the rain and my parents are staying home -_-'

Tsunami Warning here in Hawaii after Earthquake in Canada..

Sandy made me stay on duty for 17 hours at work. I was almost mandated for another 8~16 hours by my facility (I have no idea how you could entrust a guy who hasn't slept for almost 24 hours to give out medications, hang IV, and perform wound treatment to other people)..thank goodness my relief came and I managed to get them to give me a day off today.

The only damage my household sustained is a little fence problem in the backyard that's easily fixed. Otherwise, nothing much.

Money will always be there. I'd rather enjoy my time off rather than spend more hours than I have to at work. The 16 hour shift wasn't that bad since I'm used to my hectic 3-11 routine. 11-7 is a lot more laid back.
