That patriotic look on war machine is crossing the line into captain america's territory... If he had a shield he would be captain america 2.0....mechanized version...

I found this
the armor in the set photos is allegedly War Machine (the armor worn by Rhodey (Don Cheadle) in Iron Man 2). War Machine has apparently gotten a new paint job, courtesy of Uncle Sam. Rumor has it, the scene in question involves the Vice President taking a flight to China, and War Machine presumably acting as his guard.

Makes sense that he be all American if he is escorting the President. This also makes more sense then a Spider-Man character crossing over into Iron Man because they have no ties to each other like the Avengers do.

In the comics they crossed over a few times. The Iron Patriot happened during the Marvel Civil War so to speak. Otherwise known as the Registration act. Norman Osborn wanted to prove that he could be a hero.
Now it's changed so that they pretty much just painted war machine patriotic colors. It's not a new suit or anything. Just a paint job which is boring.
Other than that, I'll definitely be seeing this.

Didn't even know I made this thread. Saw it yesterday, it felt really dragged out and I really didn't enjoy it. Save your money.

I enjoyed it, quite a bit actually. Im no die hard fan, and i really just take the movie for what it is, a couple of hours of watching something entertaining.

Worth the watch, everyone you know will probably watch it too.

How is it that so many of you haven't seen all three yet? Or at least the first two. Not like you don't have the time.

The third one was my least favorite. Still a decent movie, but yeah.

I think number 1 is definitely my favourite. Number 2 was alright, and number 3 was quite good, but I think number 1 blew them both outta the ball park.

Well that's to be expected. Since everything was "fresh" and "new" with the first one.

Yea, that's pretty much the reason why. Either way, I think it would have been difficult to make one as good as the first.

It was alright. I'm glad the trailers didn't spoil some of the plot like most of trailers do nowadays.

The after credits scene was a disappointment too. I wanted more build up to phase 2. =/

I haven't seen 1 or 2, but this one wasn't that great and sort of makes me not want to watch them.

There were maybe two instances that were actually witty, the action was lacking, and I felt like there was way too much talking and Robert Downey Jr. trying to be funny.

I wish it wasn't like TDKR, too much Tony Stark, not enough Iron Man.

After the credits:
Spoiler!

Before I forget again. A few things that pissed me off about the movie were:

Spoiler!

I know this a fictional movie and what the hell ever but they just try to make the movie too funny instead of keeping some realism. These things only happened to make the audience laugh. Fvck the audience.
