Eating.

I need to do more of it. I am, and always have been, a very skinny person. I'm 6'5 and 155 lbs. Now I'm not entirely "unfit" as I do have a fairly decent amount of muscle. Still, I'd like to gain a good 30 pounds, if at all possible.

Now, my problem is this, I don't eat, like ever. Well, that's not entirely true. But instead of the 2k-2.5k calories I should be consuming, I eat about 1500. I don't know why, but food has little appeal to me. The costs, and time spent, consuming food is a turn off for me. And before you ask, no, I'm not anorexic (I think).

So yeah, any relatively cheap/fast/easy way to pack on the pounds? Please let me know.

Thanks.

According to some random online convertor I'm 6'1 and 125 lbs.

PS. **** you non-metric system.

Well if you guys are healthy then there is no need to change....It's not like your weight is a threat...is it??....Its more of a cosmetic thing as to why you want more weight?

Then eat around 150-200g of protein a day and hit the gym. You got to force yourself to eat, there is no magic way. Eat foods with fat in them too to get the extra calories.

Eat before going to bed...one of the fastest way to gain weight...You aren't doing anything to burn off calories by doing it like that..

That's a lot of protein...

And yeah, I've come up with a few reasons as to why I gain weight, besides just having a high metabolism.

1.) I don't sleep enough. And unlike most people, I don't eat anymore when I stay up into the early morning hours.

2.) Smoking. Obvious reason is obvious.

Fixing both of those will probably help somewhat. That, and if I just started eating like a normal person. But meh.

Probably.

Though, I feel like part of my "lack of eating" problem came as a result of SRO. I learned to ignore hunger because I was busy raping face. Like right now, for instance, I'm hungry. But have made no effort to go get food.

Eh, possibly? I don't think/feel depressed. Though my love life kinda blew up in my face a few weeks/months ago. Which kind of makes me sad. But yeah.

Now that I think about it, you've been making a lot of threads about personal problems... Wouldn't surprise me if you were indeed depressed.

I can't really tell, since I don't know you IRL.

Am I not typically in a good mood?

Don't let anyone tell you you're depressed because you know yourself best.

If you think you should start eating more, then do it. It's that easy.

Start eating a big breakfast and exercise more. That should get your appetite going.

Try eating foods that are higher in protein, but not high in fats etc! You could also have bigger portions for your meals, as foods that are higher in protein make you less hungry!

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, too damn tired to type on my phone.

It's funny how easily we all adapt to their stupid metric system but Americans never do it them selves. Entire world uses kilograms, meters and celsius. Time the Americans stopped being so annoying and start using international measurements, just like we all speak an international language.

Tas it's simple, to start your metabolism everyday, you need to start up your body, if you don't eat breakfast you won't be hungry till dinner either, if you're like me, a disliker of making breakfast, just buy a huge yoghurt that you just can pour up when you wake up and force it in there, if you do you'll be hungry at lunch, and you're bodys system will be a-ok

I'm 181cm and 66,5kg, never been a big fan of food, though there some things I'd eat pretty much any time. I used to eat before going to sleep but it didn't really help with gaining weight. I don't eat much for breakfast, just some cookies or stuff like that and coffee. I drink 3 or 4 mugs of coffee a day(I love coffee) and eat when ever I feel like it.

I've always been skinny (189cm and 60kg) too but unlike you I always eat. A lot. I just don't gain weight and idk why. High metabolism and might be smoking, yea. But I started smoking like 2 years ago and I've been skinny before that too.

i used to think like most of you ''I'm ectomorph blablabl i eat alot''

fact is, no you don't eat alot, you eat stuff like apple, vegetable and things that wont get you big.

you need to learn how to eat to get what you want, eat bread like no tomorrow, rice and pasta, now you're talking.
