all sellers in Europe are obliged to give a 2year guarantee, so you can fight that. also it costs like 2 euro a month to insure your phone, which is practically free. it will cover damage, theft, burn, losss, pretty much everything. If you feel like wanting a new iphone, just throw that shit from your stair and tell them it was an accident, you get a new one within a week or so. you gotta love insurance. 2 euro is nothing, you should definetely take it!
Yeah, fight a multibillion company over warranty issues as a small business ... sure
We once send an iphone to Apple to get it repaired, phone was 13 months old & it just broke down
one day. No damage at all.
We send it to Apple, they tell us: oow
Price to fix: 250€
We didn't agree seeing the phone was 13 months old & we are obliged to give 2y warranty.
After a lot of mailing it came to this:
We could either pay to fix the phone or they would keep the phone at their center...
We ended up paying the 250€ ourselfs
They practically told us: F*ck You
And this is why I never will be a fan of Apple
My samsung phone worked 3.5y+ fine; last half year it has been slow & going crazy
Ativ S going for 550€ - some online stores are already taking pre-orders
should release around november 1st
Apple isn't innovative
Steve Jobs was
Every iphone had something really new and special while Jobs was on the job
the iphone 5 is really nothing but a hardware upgrade
